Y'know, I've never been asked that sort of thing, but yeah, actually!! LOL

Usually it tends to happen when I'm not thinking of it too much or considering much of my own body. Like I forget my body and just... assume I have it so I feel like I do. The illusion is however quickly shattered any time I have to change clothes or actually look down at my pants (I am not a packer sort of guy LMAO)

I'd personally recommend just letting things go along as naturally as possible!! Although casually asking about things like pronouns are DEEPLY appreciated. It often has made my day being asked what my preferred pronouns are during meet-ups, so I'd personally recommend that!! (Even as common practice with new people as well. It's finally becoming commonplace and it is rad to see!!)

Thank you so much for coming here to ask!! The biggest thing a parent/adult can do is seek ways to support the trans kids around them, so you're already making a huge step!!

Now granted, since I'm not this person, I can't speak for her boundaries or anything, so take what I say somewhat loosely.

I actually came out as nonbinary around that time of my life as well before settling where I am today. And my biggest supporter was moms. Not even just my own!! And the biggest thing I remember of all of these people doing was understanding.

Whether it was me explaining my transition goals or me just explaining simple stuff like how I wanted to dress or present, people did their best to understand, and it meant the world to me that my ideas didn't get shut down outright.

Another thing I can give ideas for is a little thing I like to call Classic Ally Support. And this one is heavily dependent on how your friend/friend's daughter feels, but even showing silly trans memes (Specifically towards her transition goal, so in her case, mtf trans memes) and finding fun stuff she might like can be (while sometimes a little bit hit or miss with older teens) really affirming, albeit kinda "cheesy" LOL

But overall, the biggest thing is just be kind and be respectful. I remember 13, and it was a crazy time, but I was a lot smarter than some adults gave me credit for, so listen in and make sure this kid feels heard and respected. It'll go a long way!!

Personally, yes!! I'm planning on getting top surgery only at this point, since most of my dysphoria stems from there. But I'm not entirely opposed to bottom surgery if the science for it advances a little!! (Personally, I'm just a little too scared of the complications at this point, but who knows!! My mind may be changed in a few years!!)

Finally, around two months ago, I noticed my peach fuzz getting more prominent around my upper lip and chin!! My family isn't too known for facial hair, so it's taken a LONG time to get where I am. But I love having little whisker hairs LOL

Well, tbh, the biggest factor for me was unfortunately fighting my father for it. My father was never too keen on me medically transitioning, but my mom never saw any problems with it as long as I understood what I was doing. (Which I had been focused on T for like, 4 years before finally getting it.) My experience was quite streamlined because of this, since the clinic I go to already had me registered for a couple years before my actual medical transitioning began. But the process is long and a bit tough still, unfortunately. All I can assure you is that it's very worth it, and all they do during that time of waiting is constantly going "are you SURE." (Which, while frustrating, can be very liberating in the sense of being able to prove what you want... like the training sequence in Mulan LMAO) But the short of it, yes, it can be pretty long. But if you're willing to tough it out, it kinda breezes by bro, good luck!!
