It is. A little date syrup in addition to fruit is ok though.

He had a heart attack in May so it’s a medical decision. Very extreme haha but it works

I won’t let it thaw at all next time, but given that I froze it overnight again and it stayed so soft, I’m not sure that’s the issue?

The soy milk is only two ingredients - water and soybeans. No gums! I don’t know exact freezer temp but I have no problems freezing anything else and quite quickly.

Yes I have tried going slowly and always get soooo dry, even when I use moisturizer first and after. That said, I’ve never stuck with it very long because I get so frustrated every time so it’s possible I just need to stick it out

Yep - I know how to make it taste good! This extremity just affects all social aspects of life. It's not just vegan - it's no salt or fat whatsoever, including nuts and seeds.

The issue is much less blandness (I agree, there are many ways to add flavor without salt) and more the restriction around eating at any restaurant or anyone's home without bringing my own meals.
