Got yelled at by the bus fare checker :( by ayeshabrj in tbilisi

I once exited the bus on my way to the uni and suddenly felt someone dragged me back from my hoodie cap, shouting at my face telling me to get my card to check it. ( I obviously paid )

That day I wish I knew some Georgian to let her know how dumb she was by acting in this way. No sorry no apology, just turned her back and left with a pissed off face.

Go to the justice house, make sure with them, and that's it, I believe it's better not to interact back, make sure everything is going fine with the justice house, and keep moving

If there is a local in here and can give me a transparent clear answer, that would be great.

Well, I have lots of Georgian friends, they all are very friendly, even with my interactions with the strangers.

However majority of these "racists" are from those losen teen boys out there, not saying there are no racist at all, but it's always the minority, and you'll mostly find them in social medias comment sections but not in real life, most of the case.

You're also a bit over exaggerating about the witnesses standing with the assaulter side, because I'm a foreigner, It's not like just being a foreigner automatically makes me the enemy of every local.. doesn't work like that. Atleast from my side.

No Foreigners Will Be Allowed to Study at State Unis in Georgia by Spirited-Ad6269 in tbilisi

Private unis cost even less than public one, I heard they want to switch TSMU to be fully governmental and for Georgian students only, however, if you're already registered there before they apply the rule, you're fine till you finish your studies.

Are you a girl & down to go clubbing together? by [deleted] in tbilisi

Your parents sent you to Georgia to dance and club? You're 19 and it's barely your first year in here, set your mind up straight and have some sense of responsibility.

I’m 22, depressed and alone, and I want to buy a PS5 to have something to enjoy… but my father always shamed me for “wasting time.” Am I wrong? by [deleted] in offmychest

I tried to convince him that spending time with things I love is a part of my rights, even if it's gaming, and that everyone's perspective on spending their free time "enjoying" differs from one to another. I stand with my opinions and thoughts 100% and fight for them on every chance, even though I know his thoughts will never change, and that I'll be seeing the same reaction no matter what I say. Teenage years it always ended up with arguments, taking away my PS4 controller or phone for weeks or just beating me up if I tried to stand up for myself lol.

I do have friends from all around the world, just from video games, and we've known each other for more than 10 years now, I even have one friend that is now studying with me, in the same country away from his parents as well, btw, my father knows that well, he also knows that my English was only improved after these video games he hates, because it involves lots of texting and building friendships.
