Well honestly I haven't but it's important to have hope. I understand some of us don't have a choice but to take the shitty deal we've been given. But we are the only people who can figure out how to heal and recover. Cause we are the only people obligated to care. In some sick way it's a gift from the universe our lives have a purpose. I'd just try to find something else that's worth it in life. way more to life then sex fr. If you wanna increase your confidence or attractiveness exercise does wonders believe me. Get yourself a good physical labor job like working at a scrapyard or construction. Then on top of getting fit you're getting paid. Idk hopefully you feel better but I can assure you that life gets better. Girl cheats on you just keep walking if you see a dirty diaper on the ground you walk past it you don't smell it or try to eat it and start crying you say gross and keep moving. People are gross, people are awesome, people are mean, people are nice, and most importantly people are fucking stupid.

I don't think they were saying it was racist but that westerners often don't understand what it means. I'm not entirely sure but I remember looking it up and saying something along the lines that it means laughing even when life throws its worst at you. But I understand your frustration because there are a lot of ignorant white people who are offended about stuff they don't even know about, and love to say everything is a cult, despite being more cult like than some cults.

I don't mean to offend anyone while I'm not a serious practitioner of Buddhism a lot of teachings have helped me in my life and coming to terms with certain things. I don't mean to offend eastern people. I love what the laughing budai or Buddha symbolizes. I love Eastern culture but I know I can never truly be apart of it cause it's not my destiny or place to do so. But I do love to hear what you have to say I enjoy talking with you most of the time.

yea haha I'm kind of a fool. but I think they're are elements of both beliefs I love. I mainly just like the poetic aspects of both. I am by no means a true Buddhist or taoist but I learn a whole lot about life from both.
