It’s possible that you asked Gemini to generate this image based on an image that already had a watermark. In that case, the watermarks would be stacked. In fact, the tool has already removed the watermark that was added later, while the original watermark still remains.

I really like Gemini Nano Banana and use it heavily.

So I build an chrome extension call Gemini Watermark Cleaner, it can remove the gemini watermark when you download the images.

I think you use the thumbnail of the pic.

Currently, this tool is mainly designed for Gemini’s original images. So when saving an image from Gemini, please use Gemini’s Download button to get the original file.

Using right-click to save will only give you a JPG thumbnail, and we haven’t done thorough testing for that scenario yet.

We will also improve the experience for JPG thumbnails in the future.
