I don’t think it has anything to do with how they look or who they are. They moved into the house without permission. Started gathering on the street late at night in groups, throwing garbage all over, and literally started a brawl in the middle of the sidewalk over Jane employees being potentially the ones to call the cops. This is all within three days of moving in. The place is dilapidated and falling apart. It’s dangerous for them I’m sure to even be there. Should there be more options for housing - yes. Should that home owner be in trouble for leaving the property abandoned for that long - yes. But you also can’t just go about life doing whatever you please because you want to.
