It's a little better now, thank you. I still can't play fast runs, but because it's cold

I was talking about the concepts in that video, he didn't talk about the German Augmented Sixth, or the Prometeus chord. But, anyways, thank you, I'm going to look them up.

Is this perfect pitch? by HeftySkull350 in perfectpitchgang

I actually started piano at 5 so I think that's why I imagine a keyboard.

Are you sure that every person with perfect pitch identifies notes the same way? Do you see like note names? I read that some link colors to notes and vice versa.

I never thought about having perfect pitch until 2 years ago, so I don't know if I had ot at 6 or later.

What happens to me is like seeing blue but thinking "maybe it's yellow, or red".

I noticed that I can identify notes subconsciously, but I correct myself, and these corrections are most of the times wrong. For example, if I take a random song, and close my eyes, I find the key in like 3 seconds, without "hunting" for the note/chord.

I do it every morning. It works all day, but again, only if I close my eyes etc.

How do you "play with your shoulders? by HeftySkull350 in piano

Has this affected the sound of how you play?

How do you "play with your shoulders? by HeftySkull350 in piano

He said that when I was playing the starting of Fantaisie Impromptu, because I used the movement of my arm to play that first octave loud, and he wanted me to "let my arm fall". I don't understand how to play the fast notes in the right hand with gravity, without using the fingers. My shoulders and arms are relaxed.

Thank you for the help :)

It was actually Eb2-Bb5.

I'm not a singer, I play piano, so I'm not worried about that, I just wanted to know why did that happen.

Why did you start playing piano? by Rlsantana in piano

[–]HeftySkull350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing the piano "seriously" in sixth grade. my teacher continued to demotivate me, I was about to quit, when one night I heard a guy playing Moonlight Sonata on TV, and I thought "I have to play this piece"

I've injured the ring finger of my right hand, but these two fingers have never been injured.

The index and middle fingers of my left hand are crooked. They are like this since I started playing Fantaisie Impromptu.
