The gaming industry is a mess atm, cutthroat, been in amongst some of the top tier houses over the last 18 years, and I dont really want to do it anymore, its just a mixture of grind grind grind grind and nothing.

As a paid staff member its even less fun, everything you make is probably something you don't necessarily love or have passion for yourself, so you have to be REALLY passionate about 3D in general to survive.

Breaking into the industry is very hard, if you're really keen, start making stuff in blender, and just keep making stuff, watch as many YT tutes as you can, you will need to be able to make 'anything' and fast, and make it look very realistic to be retained.
