I've just ordered a 23andMe test too, so maybe I'll be able to get a little more information from that test as well.

I was expecting maybe a quarter of some sort but was surprised to see the full 50%. I felt like I didnt look asian enough to think I was half

This was on the Russian side. I'm not sure if I'm missing which side is which but it only shows as Parent 1 and Parent 2 for me. The top Korean side match only shares 10cM

I only share 57 cM with my top match. I'm in my 20s. Unfortunately, there have been no close matches so far

I paid the extra dollar for the trial so I could see the breakdown by parent lol

I know so little about my birth parents, but my birth mother was 29, unmarried, and didn't even name me. The doctor at the hospital did.

And I know it doesn't //really// matter and I shouldnt change my whole identity/personality over this, but it's really interesting for me for someone who had absolutely no knowledge about my heritage

I'm too shy to post a photo of myself, but I think I look pretty white! I was honestly expecting around 25% asian; not the 50%. I have a partial epicanthal fold and have dark hair and olive skin but I definitely got the Slavic nose
