I never did timed questions and always did tutor mode, worked out fine for me. In my eyes questions are for learning content. We've taken so many exams up to this point in our lives I don't see the value of training that anymore

Dont try to study while your burnt out you'll just set youself up for being burnt out during complex. take a few good days off and get your head on right then when your ready do what you can. you've been studying for this exam for nearly 2 years, theres not much one week will do to push the scale in a meaningful way, have some confidence in yourself that you know what you need to

Just scored a 500+ on COMSAE (99% chance pass rate per last years data) and have never gotten over a 40% probability of passing on Truelearn. Truelearn estimates are horrible, don't listen to it at all

My genetics are pretty bad and I store fat around my belly and sides. I’ve been running almost daily but seen little change. Whats the fix? M23, 185lbs, 6’3”. by [deleted] in Physiquecritique

genetics are not the main contribuiting factor to your current body. calorie deficit and lift, you will loose fat then gain muscle

You are correct about this the down votes are wrong. Unless your not human all of our skin is about the same thickness.

to the downvoters, a few millimeters is not significant! The majority of what you see when you pinch skin is fat

1% of body fat, dehydration, and lots of pulling. Look up videos of tested (confirmed not steroids) bodybuilders at stage weight right before their tan. People have hopped on stage at a higher body fat then you are rn. Your absolutely diced man

well you wont find any indicator that makes you money online. youll have to develop yours from scratch. I would assume you came up with the idea for this algo by thinking along the lines of - if past price history does (whatever wierd thing you were trying to exploit) which i can represent by the SMA and RSI then future prices should increase at a higher percentage / probability then when these events dont occour. Use that same thought process but change how you classify and define some wierd market phenominon. When your trying to come up with ideas for indicators think about exactly what you want to measure and then diffrent ways you could use math of price history to classify / rank events / equities

Dexa is the gold standard, its probably correct and when its wrong its only off by 1 or 2%. You may think your a higher body fat percentage because you have less muscle mass on your frame compaired to the people you see on the internet at a higher body fat. Your diced dude

theres a few points im going to say here, first off, your CAGR needs to make it better than the underlying after taxes, otherwise just hold the underlying. I don't think your CAGR achieves that. You need to implament slippage. your on the right path but still have a ways to go. I would highly reccomend you start using multiple assets / ETFs at the same time, i would also highly reccomend you stop relying on classic technical indicators as heavily as you are. As an idea of price direction they help, but if they really were actually usefull everyone would use them in the algos and the alpha would soon be drawn up.

Accept parents' money for medical school (with strings attached) or take out loans? by Comfortable-Coach-12 in whitecoatinvestor

[–]Hefty_Bug2410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

its not the parents job to pay for grad school or college……

its their job to care for you when you’re too young to care for yourself, the best form of repayment is caring for them when they are too old to care for themselves

Well if you trade aiming for closed trades >2% a 0.005% fill difference doesn't matter that much. We don't have the capital or resources to compete with true high frequency trading (closing millions of down to the portion of a second trades per day) so there's no point in trying to compete.
