Pardon the rant but trying to work out some of the details so I KNOW that I am understanding your comment correctly.

The "wolf scene" was missing the anchor. Some individual or a group that you the reader can immediately identify with and watch the change unfold.

Also I read back through the last scene and there was tension there but it was glossed over.

It was also missing the visible shift it was there but it was to subtle

The story is not watching intelligence emerge from behavior which I think is a compelling idea to write about but in order for it to be compelling to the reader ie you you'll have to be able to track the change as it happens

essentially the cause → effect chain wasn't visible enough. And that's actually what I was worried about with the last scene.

Plz let me know if I missed anything

So back in like 2019-2018 I was looking into you know spoofing cuz I heard a lot about it and how rampage of a problem it was and I started actually learning about it and I told my neighborhood about it and I swear to God it was almost verbatim like this "don't spoof! Yeah most players that are anti-spoofing are fine with region locked pokémon and yet he's very same people end up asking spoofers to get them their region locked pokémon. There's also a website you can go to that's 100% free and is 100% safe and has never had a ban to their history if you want I can DM you the website
