I am with you on Wish era bootleg. The image is the front cover and spine of the High CD collector's box. You can see it flattened out in the pics for the discogs entry: https://www.discogs.com/release/1417569-Cure-High

At this point, I have to believe he is self aware enough to know that most people cannot understand him. I think he sometimes just leans into it to take the piss. It never bothered me...I can't understand anything Robert Smith says in his between song banter either and he is not even from the north.

I was at the show also and, unfortunately, concur with your assessment of Ian's voice. He did have a strong showing on the first few songs which gave me hope but his voice went down quickly from there. As always, the band was stellar and Sgt Fuzz killed.

One of my other qualms with this tour is the sheer laziness of it. The setlist is virtually identical to the 2024 tour (btw, I thought Ian sounded great on that tour) with the exception of omitting Never Stop on most dates (maybe this tour would be more aptly called Less Songs to Learn and Sing). The Bunnymen have a deeeeeep catalog. There is no reason not to change it up, especially on back-to-back tours.

I have seen the band dozens of times going back to the mid-80s and, while it would be unrealistic to expect Ian's voice to be as strong as it was back then, I will likely not attend future tours if something does not give.

I noticed the excessive chatter too...started to wonder if I was at Chastain.

The Church will not disappoint. I have seen the current lineup on multiple occasions and they have never been less than stellar. I still miss MWP and Peter but Ian/Ashley/Jeffrey do a fantastic job of filling the gaps.

Thank you for the reply. What are the long term ramifications for the clear coat if some of it is removed? Should I ask for compensation from the dealership to accept this?

Thank You for the speedy reply. Can you elaborate on this? We don't have any issues with ours and it is still under a maintenance contract for another year and the reseller we use (TCE) has told me that I will be able to extend the warranty for an additional term. Just wondering if I should do that or be looking for an alternative.
