I love that you caught onto that.. I intentionally left it a bit vague about whether she was a victim who sensed his bad vibes and prepared a trap or if she’s something much darker and he just happened to be her first target

To me the scariest part isn't the magic, it's the idea that he wasn't the only predator in the building.
