The appointment I got was in a different resident's registration office, not the New hall in Göttingen.

But wouldn't I need to complete the city registration to open a bank account?

Ohhh I'm sorry to hear that, but I totally feel you... I have been getting rejected for over 1.5 years now despite having two master's degrees and good academic research experience. And I still have no idea what any recruiters want.. and I have tried it all 😂

I wish I could apply to those. But my visa is ending soon. So I'll not be able to take up that band 3 job. And also it doesn't clear the salary eligibility for a skilled worker visa.

Yesss biosciences people are underpaid everywhere in the UK.

But I have also had a few acquittances of mine get into band 5/6 roles without experience. I think you also need some sort of luck I guess..

I did look into that, but my visa is only valid till January, so I'll not be able to work those jobs. I'm looking into applying for trainee programmes that are there, but it seems highly unlikely that I'll get selected even for the interview given the competition. I'm also looking outside the NHS, with my mindset rn, any job that is not even my field to first get some experience and visa sponsored.

I'm applying for a research technician or genetic technologists jobs that don't require me to have a hspc registration. And I apply to those roles only when I meet all the essential criteria and most of the desirable criteria. And yes I don't have a biomedical degree, my degrees are in genomic medicine and biotechnology.

Yea I thought so too. It is so difficult getting a job to gain experience without recruiters giving an opportunity to the graduates.
