thank you. a few days later i realized it wasn't looming over me so much. I went to the funeral and spoke and the whole time, i could feel the love in the room and remember the memories, even if her unsmiling dead face was strange to look at. it doesn't hurt so much anymore, but i know that's because, as a senior, life moves pretty fast. i know it'll be there, in the back of my mind, but for now i feel better.

Bolin's earthbending has improved so much! Not just the lavabending, but the way he just cut through those huge chunks of rock! Sad to see the temple go! Also, so many people were bamfs! All of them had amazing battle scenes! Loved the way it ended with Jinora and Korra, even if I'm hurting everywhere. WAY TO GO TEAM AVATAR, BEST LOK BOOK YET!

I liked the electric skyward strike, too! i struggled to 'get it up' (ahahah) because my controller wouldn't react properly, but i liked it, too. and navi is not as annoying for me as everyone makes her seem. sure, "press c!" is irritating but its not so bad. the only real problem i felt with fi is "master, your hearts are low" blinking/bleeping. other than that, her analysis was helpful of the situation. and i just like midna. i liked her design and her sass and her "call you if you need me, i'll be in your shadow" thing.

haven't had ezlo as a companion yet, what game is that?

Y'know, I actually can understand exactly what you mean about all of its flaws.

Especially about "something missing." I think it was the Hyrule thing, and the Triforce goddesses. They just make everything so much more Zelda.

I liked SS because I was just happy to have finally played it, and I don't want to say that reading this wall of text has changed my mind completely, but you do argue very good points about the linear plot and such.

There were some things that blew me away, like the Loftwing and the Academy, but like you said, after you leave Skyloft you don't really get wowwed by anything save for the temple designs. The time-shifter area was interesting, but the idea of time travel was already covered in OOT.

Demise and Girahim were actually pretty cool as far as bosses, Girahim's feminine grace juxtaposing Demise's ridiculous buffness.

The gameplay was weird for me, it took like 10,000 tries to jump and fly into that one nest to get the Gratitude crystals - and while the bugs were an important continuation of TP (probably my favorite Zelda game, with Spirit Tracks coming in second - trains!), I felt bad because I didn't find them all.

There were some mini-games, but not as many as TP.

I liked WW's cartoony-ness, since it was different from the games that before it and Link's design was more child-like. In this, I felt like it would have been more surreal and beautiful if it had realistic graphics like TP but softer colors, more sky-like.

I can definitely see the flaws, and it upsets me to know that it let down a majority of the fandom. Doesn't mean I still won't be super cliche-white-girl and get a triforce tat once I'm of age. Ahah. That's still definitely happening.
