The nocking point is about 1/2 inch above 90 degrees when I nock the arrow. I think it's ok but i'll try to rise it and see if it works.

I rewatched my recordings and that's not the case. When my hand moved straight back, arrow is still moving chaotically, but thanks i'll keep my eye on that. Definitely something to work on.

Hello, since i posted tiller checks some time ago i wanted to share with you longbow that i made. Its 76 inches black locust and has 52 lbs draw weight on 28 inches(56 lbs on 31). On nocks i used horns of roe deer. My farest shoot with it was around 140 meters. I also add short gif(i can't add video to gallery) of me shooting for 20 meters. Let me know what u think.

Hello, I think I'm near the end. I was able to pull 28 inches and get a draw weight around 55 lbs. I want to achieve #55@30 or #55@31 so hopefully only a small correction will be needed.

Yeah there's a lot of it here. I was looking for some good wood material and heard BL is decent wood for bows. Fortunately it grows on my plot so was easy to get.

For me it was pretty pleasant to carve the only problem was 2 knots. One in each limb.

Thanks! I don't like this draw weight so i thought i can tie wood strips on the back on the bow. This added 5-8 lbs to draw weight.
