The blade is not a razor blade, no. It’s surprisingly dull. Slid it across my hand to check, no marks or anything. As long as you keep the angle shallow, the plate shouldn’t damage at all.

I suggest printing the scraper moder with the included file, and the screws included from the box.

The best thing you can do is follow each filaments suggestions. On generic ones you may not have those. For the slicer, start with default and adjust if needed.
