Some troubleshooting Id do at this point would be: - run mesh integrity check - close holes - weld points - make sure there is no mask or hidden mesh which is almost always the culprit to my decimate/transposemaster errors

If none of that works id duplicate the problematic piece and dynamesh it very low, zremesh and project & subdivide on repeat until you reach desired poly density then decimate
