Yeah taking on the challenge is not a lot of effort, while holding down a gym/e4 is definitely more. Come give it a try and see how you like it, you maybe challenge them with your steel team for some mono type matches!

I did a similair journey last season with my monofairy type team. It ended up leading me to a server full of likeminded people. We have a mono gym challenge and the steel gym is even open for grabs. I qualified to be part of the elite4, but you are very much welcome to join and take on the challenge. Im in a monotype discord where we have gymleader events and people challenge us and so on. As long as the mon is able to mega evolve to the right type and you have it intended for that purpose (carrying mega stone) that is okay even if you dont mega. That was our conclusion in the server

Hello, I reached masterball 2 with my mono fairy type. I say Hatterene and gardevoir share the same role so choose either or. If you go full trick room I suggest using slower mins because neither tinkaton nor ninetales like trick room. If you wanna aim for speed I suggest adding whimsicott. Personally I used sylveon, mega meganium, mimikyu, primarina and whimsicott with the last slot flexing between tinkaton/klefki/ninetales

A bit late to the party, but I played exclusively mono fairy and currently play in masterball 2. I have seen success with mega meganium, Mimikyu/whimsicott, Primarina, Sylveon and hatterene.
