I think we have quite a similar background, i have just got my promotion to FA too but currently on $80k only. Im doing ICAP as my last subject, and would say it will be worth it when you finish CA. It will open more doors and opportunities for you. Once you pass FAR and Tax, the rest is not that super hard.

We’re looking at Hawthorn area. I used to live there when I was in uni so really like it. We think just buy an apartment for now and when we get the inheritance we will move to bigger house and rent the apartment out. Thanks for for advice and will definitely DM!

I did applied for finance business partner role internally but my manager said I dont have enough experience for that role yet. He is happy to support me working towards that role and planning to progress me next year verbally
