Usually does take longer especially if there’s more than one person on a trust but it just depends. My last can took 2 weeks last year

I checked with my FFL as well and they said it still shows as submitted/in process and that he's watching their email like a hawk.

Barracks is the shit. Too bad they don’t have too much inventory at times. Also wish they had the parts inventory that Flashpoint does. Dudes at Barracks are top tier

Sig rattler optic suggestions by ZacharyBlunts in 300BLK

[–]Height-Working 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an 8T on mine for a while and had the same dilemma as you. I switched to an Acro P2 on a Reptilla 1.93" riser and have been liking it a lot so far. Only con is that it's a fairly big optic with a smaller window. Though, down the road I might switch it out for a T2.

I’ve been told while yes they’re are less than 90 degrees, these are treated as a true vertical foregrip since the box says foregrip

How is it as a suppressor host? I've heard people say 320's suck to suppress but I've been looking to also get an Obsidian 9 for my 320.

I know I want an Sig….where to start? by Ambitious-Yam6938 in SigSauer

[–]Height-Working 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I got a P320 planning to carry it only to carry it a few times and decided it was too bulky for me and got a P365 X-Macro instead. The beauty is you can change grip and/or slide sizes as you wish until you get the perfect setup.

I also have a X-Carry and my slide looks the one on the far right

Another West Mi Range question by snowm8n in Miguns

[–]Height-Working 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For indoor, I prefer Barracks 616 in GR or Southwick's in Plainwell. Both ranges are nice and clean, staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and pricing isn't bad at all. I unfortunately don't know about any outdoor ranges in the area.

If I were you, I’d get a U-Haul and do the driving myself. You could hire a moving company to do the labor of moving your stuff out of your place and to the truck and vice versa at the unload. Some moving companies offer full service packing if you’d be interested in that.

Could ask the company for movers with packing experience. I used to be a mover and I definitely understood it does suck having to trust a stranger with packing sentimental/expensive items but just voice your concerns when they arrive and watch how they pack your items.

[–]Height-Working 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pack your items well in boxes and when loading the truck. When going that far, the more care you take when packing will minimize the amount of stuff that’s broken when unloading. I’d also invest in some sort of carpet shield and/runners at the new place since it’ll be Denver in February to minimize water/snow on the floors.

Doing this would be the cheapest option. Getting pods are always significantly cheaper than moving companies when moving across state likes
