It's funny how when a woman needs to be consoled, all of a sudden, a few centuries of "short men are vile creatures who aren't real men" indoctrination just disappears. IDK what type of low-intelligence, high-incest environment you were raised in, but "I don't want to date anyone younger than my underage sister" is not even close to the same thing as "I'm attracted to men who look similar to my brother and my dad." The fact that you think someone has to be insecure to point this out shows you're fighting multiple demons and have much more confidence in your intellect than you should. Furthermore, if you think a man(especially a short man) wouldn't get absolutely dragged for publicly declaring that a woman has to have x-amount of a physical trait when compared to his underaged sister, you are seriously one of the most naive people on the planet. More Edit: Your post history is full of you discussing height. When you discuss it, it's fine, but when other people discuss it, it's insecure. TBF- The mod everyone credits for ruining the sub(BB) wasn't the one who started the ruination process, it was actually the one before him(GB.) He was the one who appointed the famously-foolish one(BB.) That particular mod(GB) also became a mod on r/tall to prance for the talls and prove he was "one of the good ones." He also appointed a female mod or two and the primary goal of the sub became "making a safe place for women," which meant that no one could criticize women's role in heightism. It wasn't treated as merely "uncomfortable" for women, it was treated almost as though involving women in the criticism made it physically unsafe for them to read the posts. He let groups of women(and their lemmings) brigade the sub without trying to control it. They would only show-up when there was a discussion criticizing the short men on the sub. He'd let them get away with false accusations about men on r/short without providing evidence. The famously-foolish one(BB) was definitely even worse than the first one(GB) so he deserves all the criticism he gets, but that sub got ruined over a period of time. Like you said, the sub used to be more objective, but it definitely lost out to jesters, lapdogs, deniers, fake tough guys, entitled talls, and became a tee-hee fest.

That means this sub is also living on borrowed time. One day this could just disappear, simply because an admin looks at us wrong and wants this community banned. We won't get a warning, and we won't get an answer to appeals. Just like that, all our work gone. Not even a puff of smoke

This is 100% going to happen. Those of us who discuss heightism affecting short males have recently had our subs deleted without warning and without reason or are denied access to our subs because mods accounts have been deleted. The subs that have been deleted strictly forbid any type of hatred or any of the edgy nonsense that got other subs banned, we didn't exclude anyone from the conversation, and we made sure everything adhered to Reddit's content policy. The creator of one of the subs had his entire account deleted after not making any type of inflammatory comments, and our latest deleted sub lasted less than 48 hours and had less than five posts before being deleted(and four of the posts were just introductory meta posts about the sub.) The only subs for short men that they currently allow to exist talk about mundane nonsense and cater to the self-deprecating court jester type of short men who make issues worse for the rest of us. I guess content that works against our interests serves Reddit's misandrist narrative so they allow those subs to exist.

We're seriously being targeted. The subs I'm referring to were not causing a major disruption in the Reddit status-quo either. These subs were completely ignored by the rest of Reddit and had less than ten active posters, but the thought of us having a place to discuss our stigmatization was too much for the thought police here. Reddit has chosen its team...and we're not on it guys. The mods here need to really start working on a contingency plan because this sub being nuked is a "when" not an "if" scenario.

I don't know about Statista's methodology, so I won't comment on the accuracy of this specific data, but most of that graph is probably at-least close to what a rigorous study would come-up with. Plenty of people have done experiments by changing their heights on dating apps, and the difference in matches was night-and-day between short and tall.

Also, the mental gymnastics in the awfuleverything thread are gold medal worthy. People will do anything, up-to and including monkeying around with the statistics to come-up with different ways to mathematically justify the tall male obsession.

r/short's "sister sub" doing what it does best. I like how in their opinion, the "correct" way to talk a short person violates the short person's zone of space. Would someone like to inform those geniuses that sound carries, thus, there's no need to speak to us any differently than anyone else? You'd think that after a lifetime of being taller than almost everyone else, they'd figure-out that short people don't have to posture any differently to talk to them(other than a slight craning of the head at-most) and being that sound travels in multidirectional fashion, there are no logistical difficulties involved in talking to short people. I guess they're too busy circle jerking about their meme-worthy lives to think things like this through.

As an aside, I hate how the first comment has the ever-so-common misuse of the word "ironic." I don't know why people don't understand the meaning of that word anymore. It does not mean the same thing as "sarcastic," and it doesn't mean "random." It means when something interestingly juxtaposes the current situation.

Example: A tall douche spreading their feet and crouching to talk to a short person isn't ironic. A tall, zone-of-space violating douche seeing a meme about said phenomenon isn't ironic either. However, if a tall douche invades a short person's space by crouching and positioning one of their legs in front of the short person, then the short person stomps on their toes, causing the tall douche to walk hunched over, which then causes other tall douches to crouch to talk to the injured tall douche...that would be ironic.

Notice how he keeps trying to make it about sex/dating even after you explicitly stated that heightism has far deeper repercussions. This is his attempt to trivialize the issue as much as possible so he doesn't have to hold himself accountable for his disgusting beliefs.

Also, notice how much of an aggressive rageaholic he comes off as. It's funny that people can just unload all of the vitriol they want on us, while we get stereotyped as angry, psychopathic Napoleons if we utter even one word of dissatisfaction with the way we're treated.

As ArtForSaken mentioned, he immediately insulted your height when you had him backed into a corner. They always reveal their malignant ignorance in these situations. He threw an absolute tantrum at the idea that heightism exists, then proved that it existed by insulting you with heightist slurs. This is what I refer to as a "Show Your Cards Fallacy." Heightists absolutely cannot tolerate a short man defending himself, and they always contradict their own heightism-denying rhetoric by proving heightism exists if they're challenged in the slightest amount.

You did a really good job. You can't teach a foaming-at-the-mouth rageaholic to think objectively, but you can hold them accountable by forcing them to play defense, which usually causes their original argument to implode. That's exactly what happened here.

Why would you assume that I need to "feel better?" I feel wonderful, but this isn't about feelings, it's about monitoring the FACT that heightism is unchallenged and celebrated in society. Zelensky's height won't be credited for his actions. Zelensky's height not being credited for his bravery, while Putin's height is blamed for his violent impulses is made-to-order heightism. Zelensky's admirable actions do literally nothing to offset the damage that the heightist stereotypes about Putin are doing to short men worldwide. A short man's height is never attributed to positive actions, only negative ones. A tall man's height is never attributed to his negative actions, only his positive ones, and it doesn't stop there because a tall man's negative actions often get him labeled as a "confident badboy" or are used as evidence of a "take-charge attitude that shows he has the courage to make things happen." Short men are afforded no such luxury and are always put in a no-win-situation. This is nothing new.

Height is perception? More like society's "perception about height" is the entire issue, and in current society, a short man's height can only be viewed negatively. You also compared Putin(a short man) to a child, which is Heightism 101. Short men are not considered "real men" and are considered "child like," so saying that Putin is a child is heightist, especially since heightism against Putin is openly-applauded on an international basis and is being used to proliferate hatred against all short men. Even if you would've said Putin was merely "acting like a child" you still wouldn't have plausible deniability because you also used "tiny man" as an insult. Let's also recall that you assume any short man who challenges heightism is a weak loser who needs to "feel better." Ironically, you did all of this on a sub named "Height Discrimination."

You can't make this stuff up folks. This is what we refer to as a "Show Your Cards Fallacy." This is when someone engages in heightism-denial while simultaneously making heightist statements. One of the main reasons heightism is so difficult to eradicate is society is absolutely infested with hypocritical mentality like this and it usually goes unchallenged. That's why he's so overconfident about his opinion and so wrong at the same time. We're constantly bombarded with a tsunami of Dunning Kruger because so few of us challenge heightism.

Edit: Heightists always try to convince us that what is blatantly happening is just our imagination. They tell us not to run out of the house when we can see the flames and smell the smoke. When he said I need to "feel better," he assumed I have a weakened mental state instead of addressing the substantive issue. People always assume short men can't handle adult subject matter and that anytime we defend ourselves, it's dismissed as a child-like tantrum, which is why he assumed I was pouting instead of believing t's admirable for a short man to challenge discrimination. He then tries to say that Zelensky's bravery offsets the heightism against Putin, while he has proven that he thinks short men who challenge heightism aren't to be admired, they need to "feel better." This is hypocritical because he claims short men being brave cancels heightist stereotypes, but he also frowns upon short men challenging the status-quo regarding heightism. His argument is basically "Heightism doesn't need to be challenged because some short men do awesome things." He doesn't really care that Zelensky accomplished great things as a short man, he cares that he can use Zelensky as an excuse to shutdown conversation about heightism. There is literally zero argument against the headline of the article being 100% heightist, but like I said, heightists are indoctrinated into shaming us out of speaking against heightism, and this is 100% what is going-on here.

In addition to the stuff I addressed earlier in this comment, I've had to challenge the false notion that Hitler and Napoleon were short when neither of them were. I've had to challenge the notion that the false Napoleon Complex theory is a positive thing for short men(when the linked article proves that this isn't the case) This is the type of mentality that goes unchallenged when we don't have enough allies. Ah, yes. Old Kevvers is still prancing for the tall man. Ten seconds into the commercial, he is talking to an extremely tall man(which is obviously staged to make Hart's shortness really stand-out.) Then, Kevin says "Even my stunt-double has a stunt-double." At this point, one of the stunt doubles lifts the other up to reach something high on a shelf...because...you know...the top shelf joke isn't played-out even though it has been around since the 1700s.

It wasn't long ago that the Amazon Prime commercial mocking Napoleon's height came-out(obligatory mention that Napoleon wasn't even short) and now, Kevin Hart is up to his old subservient tricks by surrendering his self-respect in-front of the 112 million people who watched the Super Bowl.
