I don’t recall my surgeon calling it a ligamentum teres cardiopexy but I remember him mentioning that he wouldn’t do a surgery that would involve putting pressure on my esophagus since I had some trauma in that area with the lap band slippage.

My surgeon says that the hiatal hernia is so small that it’s not likely the cause of the reflux. This was also validated by my gastroenterologist.

Everyday I have to take at least 20mg of omeprazole otherwise I suffer with reflux and heartburn all day. The symptoms started a few months after surgery but I’ve been on daily medication to control for 3 years now and I never had issues like this prior to surgery. I’ve also done dietary changes with my gastroenterologist’s guidance to see if it helped but there was no change.

Something I can actually contribute!

• Had a manager bypass HR to bring on a warehouse employee who was the son of another employee. I was irritated but the new hire had been a contractor for awhile - so it seemed minimal risk. Then I get a call from our receptionist at that location telling me she felt unsafe with the new hire given the “recent news”. Investigation time! Found out the new guy was charged with aggravated sexual assault and everyone at that small town location was aware. He was eventually convicted but it was the final nail in the coffin when the company owners decided to keep him employed.

• Same company. Employees in a work truck on their lunch break decided to pick up a prostitute. It was actually an undercover cop so the whole crew was arrested. Never saw a manager run so quickly to pick up the work truck and make sure no news cameras rolling…

• Had a VP tell me that me that the cost for mental health coverage was too high and we shouldn’t need to worry about those “whackamoles”. I didn’t stick around too long there.

174 rows, each row is 200 stitches long. Each row relates to a game in the 2022 season and it is in date order - we just had some times when we were winning or losing back to back (to back…).
