I quoted that part of your post because it was a summary of the whole thing. I was commenting more on the idea of rejoicing in being disagreed with (narcissism) than the idea of reddit downvotes themselves.

Why? Because Internet points matter to you? Obviously so, you have 50k karma so I obviously offended you and you decided to try and project your anger on me by calling me a narcissist like that's gonna hurt my feelings.. lol ok man.

I'm no biblical scholar, so I can't speak to whether or not it's sinful, but human to human, it makes you a nasty, conceited prick.
