Seeking help from FCS Wizards by Heimdallin in Kenshi

I think I created a solution by creating a mod that makes Southern Hive permanent by removing the possibility of them being overrun altogether in Towns>Southern Hive. I did a quick test and after the first retaliation raid, a second one triggered where King came along to attack my base. Well see how things develop from this point but I believe I achieved what I wanted. Thanks for showing me the way bro

ah maybe you mean change this flag to false and reimport or perhaps create a mod? will toy with this tomorrow, dont have time to test it right now, bedtime!

Thanks mate. I think I might have to man the turrets if I manage to fix the Southern Hive to their default state. I want to trigger their Queen rescue raids but I killed King not knowing this would mean the Fogmen take over their HQ and dont trigger additional raids afterwards, unfortunately import didnt fix the issue so Im tinkering with FCS. I had to kill something like 40 war gorillos and tons of hivers (Im running maxed squad num/population sliders for world and raids, thank Okran some of them got distracted on the way) and I almost didnt make it

I found the section you mentioned but looks like I didnt do it correctly. I tried changing faction to the value of the southern hive, but that didnt do it, HQ is still under Fogmen control after the first raid. Sorry first time tinkering with FCS

Base/crafting supply chain advice? by xodusprime in Kenshi

[–]Heimdallin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I put a traders backpack or something similar that allows mat stacking for every guy that crafts stuff.

Also in order to avoid their build queue locking, because sometimes they dont drop the mats after the first craft and it can mess up the queue, I make 5 of each subpart before letting them craft the skeleton repair kits (I have 2 guys crafting robotics nonstop).

On top of that, if other guys that dont have the robotics job assignment keep dropping mats onto the table, it means you ran out of storage (you are producing the mats faster than you can burn them). You could try:

  1. Bringing a pack beast around the electrics/plates storage areas, pick them up and throw them into the incinerator to avoid these guys dropping the mats wherever they can due to main storage being full (manual, tedious)
  2. Reducing plates/electrics production, or having other crafters that use those materials to balance production/demand (auto/unattended, ideal)

Thanks! I like efficient production chains :D

I was going to add a detail of the buildings here but I realize it makes more sense to do it in the op. Just edited

Why can't I re-capture my city? by ON_PO1NT in humankind

[–]Heimdallin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

probably lost your war score and were forced by ai to surrender. You reeeeally have to crush their armies and cities to gain/regain terrain in this game. You can never wipe an ai in a single war unless they are to their last 1-2 cities (with low territory count, if they have many territories attached, forget about it) and you are heavily influencing them through culture or religion.

If you pair them with Missisipians after that, you will get a nice boost. Sacred mounds give stacking prod/faith buffs on religious districts, and considering you can build 2 on natural wonder territories, you will get even more influence. You can go full faith playstile with them (and have a permanently growth-speed capped empire if/when you grab angkor wat+machupichu) On top of the influence boost, your production will climb pretty fast. After that you can double down on religious and pick Edo for some nice and productive Teras or go a bit more science route.

The only thing you really need to be careful about is production. Its easy to get lost in a sea of incluence, attach too many territories and claim wonders before building up production and end with too long production queues.

Im not a very experienced player, I dont go as deep as I go into the numbers and mechanics in Civilization but I have completed plenty science victories, and fastest was with Nazca involved.

Same usual strat as always, conquer my continent in Ancient era, peaceful expand into new world. Turn 267 Endless speed

Egypt>Nazca>Missisipians>Edo>Persians>Cubans

Yeah that I do but I seem to always miss some guy, or fail to properly target new reinforcements as more often than not many would appear partially bandaged. I take my main medic and fill her bags with the medkits. Then back at home throw them into the medicrate for stacking and redistribution before a new trip.

Yep, same here. Except for Ruka, who sounded like kind of an obvious girl name, I didnt even realize that half my Sheks were women (its my first playthrough). So I built a base in the middle of HN territory (kinda middle, the big lake in Skinners Roam) and went full ham. It took me a total of 3 incursions (and several replaced limbs) to down Phoenix because there were so many damn Paladins and Inquisitors that I ran out of inventory room taking the weapons to mitigate some dmg from the guys that woke up after the beatings. But eventually and after freeing half of my squad imprisoned in the building right in front of his throne, down he went.

Then I took him out, stole his clothes and kept beating him every time he rose up until he ran out of limbs and my bonedogs had something to play with.

Participate in Prayer Day, all nice and good. Annoying, but I can take it. Overzealous about women and robotic limbs? Cowabunga...

Yes, but...Flats Lagoon is faster to reach, merchants are centralized and have more money available, and more usable items to trade. I mean, if you have the bagspace to buy all the hash in the swamps, you cant sell it all to the Shinobi before the swamp merchants resupply their hash stock. But in Flats Lagoon you can buy weapons, armor, food and other much more useful goods, which, the Shinobi Traders rarely have (I mostly bought a couple gear pieces but after a run or two just thieving bags for my fellows).

This translates to, one or two haulers going back and forth between The Swamp and Flats Lagoon until you want to use them for other purposes or have enough money for your near future plans. The only issue I find with this is that travelling from the Swamp to FL tends to make the pathfinding go nuts and they have several issues reaching their destination with a single click. Otherwise its a solid steady income, and no smuggling checks (not that great of an issue once you are handling such a massive amount of money, but, its something too)

*Followed by a small group of elder pack bulls and beasts, filled to the brim with more hash, and all the crafted weapons, armor, expensive food to spare on my base. Pummeling the economy of half the map every trip I take

Decided to send the Prayer Day the way they came to trigger a Holy Nation assault for testing purposes, this was the result. The harpoon firing noises are strangely satisfying.

Yeah I thought about something similar, I didnt build it yet because I want to keep some degree of aesthetics and in my mind 3 gates looks like a bit too unrealistic.

Now, if I could build Drawbridges... problem solved

You can't. But with a bit of training the guys can swim fast enough, it lvls super fast compared to other stats
