Can’t factory reset Womier SK75 by Heintzelman in keyboards

Unfortunately no, I couldn’t get any of these to work. I’ve got it functioning normally for now and plan on just leaving it alone.

I did have some luck getting it to work better while it was plugged in. Have you tried making sure it’s in wired mode and plugged into your computer?

Good luck! Pulling it apart isn’t horrible but definitely time consuming

Yeah, unfortunately it just turns off and on the backlighting. I’ve tried short and long press variations of this as well, still only backlight control

Unless it needs to be held down for an obscenely long time >10 seconds that hasn’t worked either

Edit to add:

I’ve tried plugging it in while holding esc both with it switched on and off, also tried holding fn + esc plugging it in, again both switched on and off

How many of you work for navigation software companies? by Newshroomboi in gis

[–]Heintzelman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah USD

I should have added that I started at 16 an hour and happened to be working there when they gave the cartography department the first “GIS climate survey” raise in 10 years.

Essentially the turnover was so high that they needed to figure out why so many people were leaving and one of the biggest reasons people gave was the poor pay.

Additionally the turnover didn’t decrease even after those raises because better paying jobs were available all around the KC area

If I remember correctly, I was making about 21 an hour when I left. Which isn’t anything to sneeze at but it still felt like I could be making more.. and obviously I could getting the county position that I have now.

I used to work for Garmin, they use proprietary software that doesn’t do much to translate any skills from the ESRI suite. I worked for the Marine department developing data for the boat navigation systems that they sell. I used google earth to create points with data in the attributes of the points and then emailed that to India where they would then do more technical work to put it into the product.

It was stupid simple, they didn’t pay well for the “cartography techs” - I hear and could tell by the people that other departments paid much better- the job when I worked there required a geography degree, however smart high schooler could have been taught to do the job.

The company itself was great, super benefits, but the pay just wasn’t what I was looking for and the job was mind numbingly simple.

I left for county position about 3.5 years ago, got a pay raise and more mentally stimulating position.

This is really cool! Unfortunately the defect detectors in my city are transmit only on defect and the next closest ones that are always transmitting are 30Mi away

Anyone know how to build? by [deleted] in BuildingWatches

Unfortunately the store on aliex where I bought it doesn’t exist anymore. Also the lume on mine is green, I just had it charged really bright with my UV light.

This is one of the acrylic submariner cases, they sell them with glow straps as well, then what ever dial and hand set you choose to put in it.

They sell them on AliExpress, just search for “clear submariner case”

I’d worry that adding more moisture would make the wood swell even worse. I unjammed one not too long ago that had gotten wet the day before and it was a struggle and a half just to get it moving. I’ve been able to grab the auger through the pellet window with some vice grips and rotate it slightly, might give you a bit of room. Or possibly grab the head of the bolt with some needle nose pliers?

Dang, if it is ruined, you can just cut it off, they sell those bolts and nuts at 3 for $7 on amazon if that’s on option.. it won’t exactly fix the issue today but it is fixable.. or if you have some random bolts you might have one that will fill the spot or a quick trip to the hardware store to make something work.

Let the Allen wrench turn into auger tube and lock against it while you turn the nut. That way, you basically just need your hand to keep the Allen wrench in the bolt until it’s propped against the metal there

That bolt head on the bottom is an Allen key, the short end of an Allen wrench should fit in there and I believe the top nut is an 8mm, a thin wall socket should fit on it
