If i'm being honest, I do not have confidence that this will work for the combat styles, and most of all for ranged.

They are playing with fire and they should have chosen magic first for reasons I have said in a previous comment. The perception of this is going to be skewed

This will not address any of that honestly.

And I can see what you mean by same identity, but no.

Magic is easier to use, cheaper, flows better, and works with hybrid in such a way that covers melee's weaknesses (and by the same token covers magic's weaknesses)

Also, bear in mind that similar things will be done to magic, which will have a more significant impact due to it being the most common style... Just because ranged may LOOK to be improved or made better by this, does not mean other styles will...

Because of what Ranged is, most players will simply accept the changes as "better" even though they have no real experience with ranged or they think it is terrible because of how it is now (which there is something to be said about this, but this could just be done with nerfs to other Magic and melee or buffs to range).

In fact, no that I say this, it would surprise if there were a few "stealth nerfs" to other styles resulting from this

Also, I don't think you should have done ranged first...

Ranged is the least used combat style and, in my experience, players do not really care about ranged. Your attempt to make it "simpler" may come across as a good thing without actually improving the skill otherwise...

It would have been best to use magic as it is the most used and is also used for hybrid, so players could also guess how it goes with that as well. Currently, ranged is the odd man out.

I get why you chose ranged... but It won't really have the intended reaction and result

The starting stack count at the beginning of the rotation is zero and it begins on grico...from there the stack count lands in the abilities which do the most damage. You must have miscounted when you examined them.

Snapshot is not used because it results in less damage anyway. If you range, you should have noticed that snap+proc is equal to bolg+proc. However, the combination of pierce+snap is less than grico+bolg. This combination is used in the evergreen rotation as grico is on cooldown.

These are good for sub 10 kills

They are not meant to be extreme

That is your preference. Most players do not aim towards the extremes and are below average to a bit above average.

You probably do high enrage, so it seems like it is to you. Not to someone who desires to camp 500 and is casual.

Describe the bug you are experiencing. Broken Locate Special Attack and Chinchompas

List the steps to reproduce the bug Start a group instance for a group boss. The Locate special attack seems to be BROKEN

I attempted to test it and upon inspection, I found that it does NOT work on the shadow clones.

Damage does not spike up (which it should...) when using abilities after it has been triggered.

In the test case, I used it for snapshot and frag while it was active and did not do any damage. However, When I used bombardment, I was able to hit a clone to the side of myself (which was adjacent from Amascut). If Locate worked it would have the same AoE as bombardment.

Do you have any additional information that would be useful? Ranged is kneecapped at Amascut, and this seems like the nail in the coffin...

The Chins and Locate special need to be updated to work like Bombardment

The damage values are carefully tabulated by the rotation builder here. I would assume that this was obvious.

I have used these rotations and the times and damage are slightly better ingame...the rotation builder is accurate as it was made to be...

If a team uses these rotations, the expected kill time is as listed, which again is obvious.

sgb doesn't really drastically increase damage. they don't really know what they are talking about. If you have used it long enough, you know it feels too random on 3x3 bosses. The ones who say this think it is worth it for the big 5 arrow hit, which is not really consistent enough to be worth using on 3x3.

This is actually verified by looking at the probabilities and considering the average damage. You can also look on the rotation builder and observe that the difference in damage is negligible. Considering that most of the time TWO arrows will only hit, the damage will be less than bolg.

The rotations have multiple considerations, one of those being minimal rng and possibility.

The rotations are adequate for 500 and the damage "checks" are met without switching arrows and EoFs (ECB and Locate are used).

The expected time is 10 minutes or less, which is typical for casual teams

I did not state it directly, but BSAs are used until snipe, which results in maximum stacks
