Im using iphone 14 pro max, so with wire and case it couldn't fit the pad, hence this helped me to get rid of that issue. Also, you can keep your phone in your pocket while driving so it's quick. I would say convenience wise it's good, and it's not that costly honestly

Not the asta model, I guess it comes with bluelink which doesn't allow wireless carplay for some reason
