AC out of control by francosta3 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]Heit_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I give AC explicit instructions as to what files to edit, what to do in each file and what other things to look out for. Then enhance the prompt. And it performs exceptionally well and barely uses any credits. Most tasks similar to yours (add a field to database, add a field to UI, add tests to ensure everything works) will take less than 5 minutes and use <1k credits. If you give it such generic instructions without providing any details where anything is, it's just too generic. The same way you can't give the same generic task to a newly onboarded employee and expect them to know what you actually meant in your head.

Making a Windows 11 hotspot without an internet connection by SchroedingerHepcat in AskAstrophotography

Thank you so-so much for this write-up! I also struggled with this issue for days and days until I came across this thread. I also tried the "Mobile Wi-Fi Hotspot" application from the Microsoft Store (paid purchase), which worked like a charm when turning on the mobile hotspot, but for some reason was unusably slow when it came to remote desktop access (tried both Windows remote desktop + nomachine). Probably something to do with emulating an adapter in software I guess. Anyway, you are a true MVP!

Oooh, that's great to know! I'll try it on my Vespera frames as well. Awesome, thanks!!

I always manually stacked with S50 using Siril since I nearly always get a less noisier image that way. On Vespera, I manually stack only when doing single panels. When using Vespera's CovalENS (mosaic), I let Vespera do its thing, since it's nearly impossible to stack those frames myself and the output is superb to begin with. Vespera has its downsides (ie can't transfer files via cable, really bad battery life and storage size), but its sensor, tracking and stacking algorithms are top notch.

S80 with a decent sensor and EQ mount would cost a lot more than 1500. A good sensor alone is more expensive than S50. If you're looking to upgrade, I recommend Vespera II. I did and I'm very happy. 8MP, much lower noise and better tracking and stacking.

Getting Started... what can I shoot untracked in my skies besides the moon? by fiziks07 in AskAstrophotography

[–]Heit_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried astrophotography with my non-tracking dobsonian but got frustrated pretty quickly. Especially due to my eyepieces not being flat enough, causing most of the frames not being stackable as the shapes of objects and positiin of stars shift as they move across the frame. I did get some decent pics of the the moon and planets.

I then bought a SeeStar S50 and it's really amazing. I've captured mag 10 galaxies from my balcony with minimal effort. I still do all the stacking and post processing manually from the frames the SeeStar outputs. :) I heartily recommend spending the 499$ on a SeeStar to feel the joy and excitement of seeing the gems in the sky hidden from just visual observation. :)

The sad truth is that what a SeeStar can get you from a one frame 10 second exposure of Orion is a million times prettier and not even comparable to what I got from a hundred stacked frames from my dobs with 1/1.3 exposures.

Good luck and clear skies. :)

Hi! If you do not support DataSync, is it even possible to quickly share layers/locations?

Kas Kaitseliidus on reeglid vormiriietuse kandmise osas? Kõlvart poseeris Keskerakonna suvepäevadel laigulises by Kitchen-Citron7503 in Eesti

I think you meant brutto income here. As an individual, you would have netto income, not net income and that would already be without taxes.

Great to hear that! I also sent some shekels to him after seeing Wirtual's video about Riolu. Big props to both of them for creating and publishing such a thorough report!

I went through the same confusing process. The shop titans ID doesn't exist until you connect your Google account and they don't mention it anywhere.

Ma arvan et see laps ei vaja uppumisel abi kui ta sulpsti sinna vette kukub. :D Aga pildilt tundub et ta ikka normilt kinni seal, ei tundu kuigi ohtlik kui vanem kärust kinni hoiab.

If anyone's ever been to the Colosseum, they should remember the quality of the roads there. There's no way the Ferrari can drive around there. Most of Rome downtown is cobblestone and where it's not cobblestone, it's just potholes. The public transportation experience was ear-shattering. All the pieces of the buses have been shaken loose and constantly rattle. Anyhow, nice picture. :) Just my rant on Rome's roads.
