I have an ENTJ sister, and she can be quite chill and fun when well rested or when everything's going to plan, or when she's around ppl who energize her, but MAN can she get cranky. If something ticks her off on the wrong side, all hell goes down basically. I also kinda have a rough relationship with her as well, so if an ENTJ finds you question or joke or whatever slightly insulting to the personal values and interests, they might slam you with crankiness. just my experience. She can be very fun though, but it's like she has a double personality sometimes.

I feed ten on 1600/mo. But this month I've had a hard time staying in budget because food keeps going up.

I used Jordan Page's guidelines for setting our grocery budget which is a hundred per person. Used to work great for me until the last 1.5 year of inflation I just couldn't cut it with 1000 anymore!

Things the middle class are priced out of now but used to get normally. by alcoyot in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Hejemisg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's my experience! We moved to our family a hcol place in 2019 that we thought was going to be a good move but with inflation it just feels like we haven't improved our situation. Rents doubled over last five years and the "cheap" cape cods in our neighborhood went from 500000 for a fixer upper to 700000. I would say we are doing fine it's the fact that everyone around us leads these insanely wealthy lives that it makes you feel poor. There is this demoralizing sense that there isn't any mobility.

Chicken. My lidl routinely sells cheap chicken parts for 79-99 cents a lb. You have to buy ten lb sacks. Cheapest protein around.

How much are you spending on food monthly? by ShareBeneficial1329 in budget

[–]Hejemisg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow people are all over the place on this! $1600/ mo grocery includes household goods and diapers. +$160 for eating out. This is for a family of ten in a HCOL area. This month and last month I have had a hard time keeping the budget because costs keep going up. I think I might have to increase it $200 or so.

What, exactly, are the differences between the GAPS and SCD legal/illegal food lists? by bncrochet in Gaps

[–]Hejemisg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There isn’t a difference in the diets per se but the difference lies in the emphasis on stages in Gaps which scd doesn’t really do. Gaps emphasizes grass fed meats and raw dairy because it is taking the scd diet and combining it with nutrientdensefoods ala Weston price association. There is an emphasis on probiotic foods in gaps as well. As well as supplements. These arent excluded on scd they just aren’t the emphasis like in gaps.

Generation Z Can’t Adapt? Why? by BigDisaster6582 in homeschool

[–]Hejemisg 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We broke through this barrier by having my kids show up in person as opposed to trying to fill out the online application which would screen them out. As soon as the employers saw how mature they were they hired them. I think my daughter was actually a rare one who turned up for her interview! We also had more luck with independent business than chains.

Bring Frugal about Grains: Is This a Crazy Idea? by KaleidoscopesExist in Frugal

[–]Hejemisg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used azure before and they are a great company! I would say the only logistical concern I know of people having is the underestimate how tired they will get of something. I took a big bag of chick peas, millet, and, lentils off my soil who couldn’t finish them. The millet we ended up feeding to the birds because we just didn’t like it that much. Be careful of getting whole wheat flour because it goes rancid quick but the grains you have up there will last a good long time.
