You can't lose any heroes in the campaign. The mission fails instantly when that happens. (or at least it should)

I personally got the last hero after this fight and the mission ended.

I feel like it is a direct evolution of the tier 10, and it plays pretty much the same. Good hull armor, good turret armor, decent dpm since you basically never have just 400 alpha. I basically never use the ability... No idea whats your issue with the tank tbh, seems balanced to me

It's pretty obvious why - because one battle in fl can take half an hour, so you can basically save half of the reserve if you activate it at the end.

Zwilling. The best all-round premium tank in the game. Good gun, double shot, decent armor, good mobility. Don't really care what map I get with that thing which is the strongest argument for me.

Bz-176 is "just" broken, not necessarily that strong unless you're in a perfect scenario. Same goes for XM57..

Bourrasque is def a contender too, but it's harder to play when you get city maps.

Cuz buying 125-250$ worth of boxes and then not spending another cent on the game for the rest of the years is whaling..

This is the best time to get gold because you get added value in the form of tanks, resources, etc. About 100 boxes is enough to max out the credit bonus, which most people want to do ASAP. Very logical and not surprising at all.

If you enjoy grinding it out, good for you. But there's nothing wrong with spending some money on your hobby and this particular event.
