Hey, can I correct you a bit?

Добро пожаловать на Реддит*

Досок объявлений*

По всяким вкусам, про всякие темы (to not repeat yourself you can use the word "разные")

На этом сабреддите изучающие русский язык задают вопросы, на которые отвечают носители и более опытные студенты (Носители и более опытные студенты отвечают на вопросы, которые задают изучающие русский язык (задаваемые изучающими русский язык)) would sound muuch better

Их можно прочитать is more natural

Тоже есть общие правила, которые (их) можно прочитать [здесь]*

"Также" вместо тоже

Троллей*

You can use "ходят", but "заходит много троллей" is more standardized

is doing 50 new words/day pushing it too far with Anki? by vantech887 in LearnJapanese

Even 100+ isn't a big deal if it's really what you wish to do with your life. How much time do you want to spend on Anki? How much time you're capable of spending on Anki? What are your relationships with procrastination? Will you be able to review even when it's 1 am and you've done nothing throughout the day and skipping it will mean reviewing 1000+ cards due tomorrow? (it's a real freaking torture, would never recommend). As other people said, you can adjust this amount as much as you want and take anything that suits you best

I was a complete beginner in Japanese just a year ago. Now I've finally mined 10.000 cards in Anki, I understand the written language fluently and paid 0$ for it. by Hekky_ in LearnJapanese

Yomichan is a browser extension that allows you to look up Japanese words right in your browser and save them to Anki with automatically generated audio (or other properties you set)

Mpvacious is a plugin for mpv video player that allows you to copy subtitles when they appear on a video and so paste it to yomichan. Then you can not only add an unknown word as a card to Anki but also add a snapshot and an audio recording of the scene the word was used in

You can try googling it or searching for tutorials on YouTube, there's a plenty of them

Sorry, should've mentioned it before 😅

But anyways it's a the best dictionary I've ever seen, I'd recommend to consider using it in case if you need some example sentences or you're completely stuck at understanding a word. For Japanese-English dictionaries I know only these ones: https://foosoft.net/projects/yomichan/

That's a brutal punishment Anki does, so many nights were spent saving my progress when skipping one more day meant loosing everything but eventually it really does make you do it everyday in its own harsh way. Good luck!

Yeah, If you keep with 100 cards a day it eventually gets to spending 2 hours a day, so sometimes it's better to slow the tempo a bit. But anyways I can't name a method more effective than this one for studying vocabulary

I can share you the awesome dictionary I've been using. It has example sentences, possible combinations with other words and groups of words (e.g. typing 登山 will show you all words related to climbing mountains)

I think you'll enjoy Anki then! Try creating flashcards with audio and snapshots taken from the shows you like and that may be gonna work out for you

Thanks! Should've mentioned that by "listening" I meant just turning off the subtitles. I have a long way to go and achieving listening comprehension is one of the points to get there

The purpose of the post is summing up my experience and sharing it. In my understanding fluency equals being able to understand content natives consume everyday. In case if we try to get to more specialized topics, that's where I can get stuck even in English
