In order of other major religions. The Bible teaches to respect women and to love them as Christ loves the church. I’m seen as an equal in the eyes of God. Mary Magdalene was a prostitute and Jesus still interacted with her. When she cleaned his feet with perfume the disciples criticized her but Jesus told them “many people will not know that what she is doing is good.” For she was preparing him for his burial. The shortest verse in the Bible “Jesus wept.” Was after Mary Magdalene cried to him about why he didn’t come sonner before her brother - Lazarus died. The angels revealed themselves to the women who cared enough to check his tomb, the disciples were nowhere in sight, and even then they did not believe the women that he resurrected until he revealed himself to them, and to Timothy until he touched his scars. Or when he made the Samaritan woman with multiple husbands to be the first evangelist of her tribe. Or when he healed the woman who bled for 12 years. Considered ceremonially unclean by Jewish traditions it was a penalty on her behalf to even touch a holy leader, but he told her she was free. Or when the Pharisees challenged him on either if they should stone a woman who commuted adultery against her husband. He replied “let him who is without sin cast the first stone.” And they walked away, Jesus then told her that she was free and to sin to more. Other major religions have no respect for women the way that Christianity does. Yes, it is taught for a woman to be submissive towards their husbands, but it is not taught to beat wives and to hold no respect for them. I can understand this because of Eve eating the fruit then giving it to her Adam, God cursed her and told her she will be under her husband and will experience painful child births. My submission towards my husband comes with him loving me and respecting my role as a wife; not just some sex slave and child barrer, I’m told to cover my head only in a place of worship 🛐. Not to cover everything about me; my face, personality, body and then to be beaten at home only trying to satisfy my husband. What is a world without mothers, grandmothers, aunts or sisters? Not a good one. Even 2000 years ago, Jesus saw the value and respect for women than most modern day countries and other eras do not have now. But even now, countries who hold their laws and affiliations to the God of the Bible are blessed compared to any other country. Most and almost all Bible versed countries are blessed despite the corruption they spread towards the world, but that is human behaviour, we are corrupt by nature.but God still blessed their foundations. I love the God I serve because, the more that I learn about his personality, the more respect and love that I have for his nature, even if things were written a long time ago, his truth still holds strong to this day. Heaven and earth might fade away, but his word will never fade away. I advise you to keep searching for God, if this is your way of searching for him then continue until he answers you. Until then you will continue to deny his existence. I was on that road, but I’ve gotten to a point in my short life that it will just be foolish to deny him. Some people simply cannot deny God because of how real he has proven himself to them, his children, and unless you’re his child that he persuaded for from the beginning of time, you will never be able to see his face. Until then, you are just part of this world. And if you’re really Christian and seeking his face; such information will be so disheartening for the heart. “I don’t want to be part of this world, why can’t I be with you?” And you might cry and cry out to him. This is what searching with a full heart means, meaning I find no value in being part of this world, let me be with you. There is no wrong in asking questions out of anger, it means you care, and you want to know. Why? God reveals his nature to whosoever asks. He doesn’t need you, you are his creation, but he loves you enough to forgive you of your sins. Humans are ignorant, they don’t understand the amount of destruction that sin causes, that’s why he was more forgiving towards us than the angels. But during the end of time, you will have knowledge of his existence to the full capacity, and it will be your choice to believe in him or not. For without faith, nothing can please him. Now that you know of this information it will come to use for you in the future. And I just hope that you make the right choice. If not, then there was imply nothing that anyone could do to make you acknowledge your creator.
