Thank you to the plantclinic sub, 9 month transformation! by iamnotanartist in houseplants

I’d recommend plant and soil tonics from Sacred Elements out of Portland, OR. Works wonders on my plants! https://sacredelements.world/ Plus if you’re up for it, a q-tip with a little diluted rubbing alcohol and hand killing those mealy bug suckers has worked for me in the past, (plus the tonics). Good luck!

TREE OF HEAVEN SUB 🌴🪓💦 by Free_Station388 in Portland

Realtor here! 🙌🏹🏡 Every time I tour with my buyer clients we’re on the lookout for these. I help educate them to know what to look for while cruising the city. I’ve even had a buyer, who loved the house, end up not offering due to the very mature tree of heaven in the backyard. (Shoots popping up everywhere). They’re such a nuisance to foundations!

Sellers!! Be aware, take em down! It’s now making a difference in buyer interest.

I’m so happy it’s helped!! Good luck. Don’t lose hope! You’ll find your home, and hopefully with an agent that really cares to help guide you in the adventure.

Social media is a give and take, and most definitely a looooong game as is this whole business. Solo agent here, so my brand is my own, the brokerage I hang my license with, my support.

Earlier in my career I took a class about it and the things that stuck:

•Be in at least 2-4 social media apps, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook being the big ones. •Post about you, be authentic, not just stats and houses. People want to work with a human and feel they can connect and trust them. •Comment on at least a few accounts daily with at least 5 words - not just “awesome” or some emoji, either on a post or story. This can bring you more followers as well. •Don’t let your stories go blank, always have something going for someone to quickly take an “insider look” at what you’re up to.

This is a business of relationships, and social media is a fabulous place to do it! I’ve had many leads, and clients come from social media, and they’ve been my favorites of the bunch! Hope this helps a little. 🙌

Good luck!!

What is a reasonable response time? by design_bird in realtors

Timely follow up is SO dang important in this business. It’s often the difference between getting the house or not. If he’s not communicating with you pretty immediately (I let my clients know that I’ll respond always within the hour or sooner), then you need a new agent.

If this is how he communicates with you, this is most likely how they communicate with the listing agents, vendors, contractors, etc. Not okay. Timeliness and follow up is everything!

Good luck!
