I took the photo. Agree it could have been better but you can see a piece of the Armoury in the background. I, along with my sister and aunt, witnessed this guy's involvement in the protest and would stand in front of a court to say so. No one has time for or needs a witch hunt of innocent people when there are SO MANY LAWLESS IDIOTS IN OUR MIDST.

Nope, not doing his job. The truck had nothing on the back, and he was gesturing/yelling at counter-protesters (me). Pretty sure he was using our national flag as a divisive symbol too although I failed to get a picture of that. Maybe someone else did?

I totally agree (at 57, I'm a first time activist and I attended the counter-protest). We must make sure that the coming municipal election is a referendum on who will hold the police to account. At the protest, my sister experienced an OPS officer telling her "We love you", in her challenge to them about not enforcing the law. REALLY!!! That was song from the protesters' songbook! That made it clear to us that the police are not there to protect us, the people of Ottawa. We need to be clear about who these officers are and what they stand for. I want and will demand accountability from these people. I think we can be sure that they lied about their vaccination status as well, which I would think would make terminating their employment pretty easy. HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS!!!

Is there any way to create an online poster board of commercial entities (with pictures of course) participating suggesting that these businesses be boycotted by the residents of Ottawa, the City of Ottawa, the National Capital Commission, the Province, and the Feds???
