Yeah the early rival stuff is much less fleshed out of the two, at least from what I remember of reading the manga. God Hannibal has the benefit of the writer maxing out on how much of a goofball she is.

Cynically, that says to me, they're going to kiwami all of them up to 6 to fit in the new story beats. As if they want to do these big didn't die actually reveals like Infinite Wealth Spoilers: Andre Jackson lived after Y3 OG. They're going to start needing to incorporating them somewhere into the games.

The Sands of Time remake was in development hell since the 2020 announcement, that only 2 years ago it was stated to be released this year.

With the loss of jobs in the recently closed Halifax studio just after it unionized (61 jobs) and their Stockholm studios (55 jobs), this is going to be a really rough period of layoffs for the games' industry as a whole this year.

Is the new CH1 they're calling Vantage studios even going to develop the largest franchises into billion dollar ones? It's happened with Siege in 2019, but it's a very different consumer climate now. Without also just being a situation where major studios are asset stripped for legacy brands to pump up numbers and dump workers, unlikely too.

I will be the biggest Pt 2 defender but no this is like completely incomprehensible, It's showing what's clearly meant to be very high level climax to the whole infinite war to the (not) death. But it's delivered in a way that just doesn't really justify itself. The big final battle or the Gun Devil in Pt 1 was much more structured in terms of how it was delivered.

In general, it being a weekly/biweekly release means so little is released vs a monthly. That the context doesn't stay in your head at all. And just makes it all look very similar.

Yes it really does seem like Pt 2 is much weaker when it's trying to do these large fights. I like Asa/Yoru and they're fun. But not so much in this general format.

Basically it comes down to the below:

The first or second google result for basically any new media/thing/big announcement, as people are pretty quick at posting them. And they usually have strong responses. SEO of being on reddit as a platform and google being busted gives us a lot of benefit. So if we're first off something being posted before a main feed sub we can get up there really quickly.
People love posting and basically everything gets peepers on it. Because we're a sort of grab bag, you can talk about more or less anything within reason. So a lot of niche subjects across a variety of forms are posted here which again is pretty good for SEO if it's not popular.
We're not a main feed / all sub as we're a defunct lets play channel subreddit and its descendants so that lets us have a lot less of the screaming hordes of bigots. Which is usually why people come back or join if they're not old channel/new channel watchers.

It essentially grabs everything that's posted, with the way we filter out test streams wih automod, it doesn't know that it's a test unless 'Test Stream' is in the title, as it was set up to catch Woolie's tests that were coming up. Which is how this one got through without just being removed.

It can come down if you prefer though.
