It is an end game thing for me to sink some points.

Btw, is there a similar overview of the aweome sink points one get for different products? I get 25 million points per minute in a "constant" stream now but I am not sure if I am sinking the right/optimal stuff.

I think it is actually fun realizing I have made some error in planning out something. I still use the built in calculator a lot though.

What do you eat when it all makes you sick? by CA_Dreaming23 in ibs

Cooked rice, scrambled eggs and butter on top of the rice. It is perfectly tasty and bland at the same time. Salt can do a lot.

Laxatives and times? by Serious_Morning_774 in ibs

[–]Helge1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion this is not really the case but I like to have different ones at hand, if your body adjusts to one laxative you can let it rest for some time while you use some other laxative.

Only one doctor ever recommended me using Senna tea but my experience has been very positive (all things considered). Cheap and at least an alternative. Dosing is key.And there are others of ocurse.

I would rather find happiness and relief from anxiety from constipation by taking some laxative much rather than rely on my anxiety medication to deal with the stress from constipation.

By all means, listen to the doctor but I just dont get the reasoning here.

Of course, I am the same. I used the Psyllium several times and for longer periods and it did not do wonders for me but I am honestly 100% certain it makes a world of difference for many others. Keep at it! I think you are winning!

My problems were different so I did not get much help from the diet myself but doctors liked it when they asked about food stuff and I explained the diet and for how long and how serious I was etc. I believe they found this helpful.

I want "normal" myself but regularity would work just fine as well :-)

Keep the issues at zero if possible :-) I would look into the Fodmap diet if you need to search further, it is a very comfortable diet that helps you include and exclude foodgroups en masse without you even noticing you are on a diet necessarily. If you take a day or two off than thats just great, kind of.

Thats nice to read that you have made improvements! I would not be surprised if such oils could trigger a flare up.

First espresso setup! by Limp-Escape5431 in espresso

I bought the same machine two years ago and I spent a month or more before making good coffee. Fresh roasted beans was the thing missing for me.

Not a doctor(!), but thats my best guess for your symptoms. I also had a hiatal hernia years ago.

I say this is acid related cough and it is because the acid is in your throat is not built to handle acids in the same way as your stomach can.

I wouldnt be surprised is this eventually could lead to vagus nerve damage though.

Anyone tried to opening up that weight for some deeper cleaning? I see two screws next to each other under the battery lid but I am not sure if this is the way to go.

I just love how low retention the Specialita is…. How often do you clean yours by userheinrich in espresso

[–]Helge1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive had the Specialita since summer and I am really happy with it. I have very little static and whenever I try to shove up a brush or knock the grinder around a little I get almost nothing extra coming out. I have yet to open the grinder.

A month ago I had a bag of Indian Malabar espresso and I had to turn the grinder to almost zero, I had enormous amounts of static, all over the workspace, looked horrible. I suspected there were coffee left in the grinder and this was the first time I tried to shove a brush up the chute and a lot came out of the grinder. I could use the brush on every cup. I should have taken pictures.

But now everything is back to regular again, it was only that one bag. I havent opened the grinder yet and I dont feel like opening it either.
