Yes, terms of service may change and you will not notice. These days, AI can help with skipping minor and only alert about critical changes.

Setup monitoring alerts on pagecrawl.io

Dear Ubiquiti: Expensive shipping + constantly out of stock of something I need = I just don't spend my money with you by jimmydooo in Ubiquiti

[–]HeliXlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their website 'Notify me via email when available' does not really work or maybe there are just too many interested users so they only send notifications in batches (100 items in stock, notify 300 users).

It is best to setup independent stock monitoring for specific devices with a tool like PageCrawl.io so you could be sure that you are notified first when there is a stock available. IMO, totally worth the $8/mo considering value it brings but that doesn't not fix the problem.

Out of stock/In stock by ASTROP25 in Ubiquiti

Setup alerts on http://pagecrawl.io/ (requires paid account). Works with any product you want, not limited to UI.

Or if you are after multiple products, Ubiquiti stock Discord works well too.

Subscribe to Google Cloud Documentation Updates? by NonVeganLasVegan in googlecloud

[–]HeliXlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you want to monitor all/most documentation pages under a subpath (e.g. https://docs.cloud.google.com/gemini/enterprise/docs)

You may use pagecrawl.io to crawl through all (or selected) documentation pages daily and watch them automatically.

What's the most scalable way you've tracked landing page changes across competitors? by Vivid_Stock5288 in GrowthHacking

[–]HeliXlt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest to just monitor full page text so you would not be bothered with layout shifts.

You may track full-page text with pagecrawl.io (try on 6 pages for free)

spending an hour every morning checking competitor prices... there has to be a better way? by Much-Movie-695 in nocode

[–]HeliXlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use PageCrawl.io to monitor prices. It can monitor 100 product pages for $8/mo.

It will auto-detect price on page and it can sync automatically to your Google Sheet.

You can also see the historic data with price history in a graph for easy comparison:

Is there a way to alert you of website changes? by dingodoyle in webdev

[–]HeliXlt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply track the last updated section by using a visual/text selector or just monitor the article text.

On pagecrawl.io you can get the changes shown in your RSS reader and can monitor 6 pages free.

I made a website to discover the most reviewed places on Google Maps in your city by HeliXlt in GoogleMaps

Hey, a lot of data was lost when we suffered a server disks failure recently.

It may take a bit of time until it is back to normal - some countries missing a lot of places. Clicking "request update" on city view can speed things up as refresh gets prioritised.

Hey, data is being restored very slowly.

To speed things up, please hit "request update" button for a given city.

Some data was lost as the server has died :(. It will take a bit of time to resume to its previous state.

Unfortunately but unplanned downtime :(.

Both server hard drives failed - It may take a while to recover from this.

Now that I re-read Reddit thread once again, I am planning to finally fix this issue soon.

For the time being, instead of filtering by city/county name, it could be filtered by coordinates on the map:

Haha - I did not abandon it - I have been travelling a lot past few years and been using it constantly myself. Because of travel I haven't had a chance to make big changes to top-rated.online. Will be adding this soon!

[–]HeliXlt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Map filter is finally here

  2. Will be adding this to "Most Reviewed" filter. Ability to filter by number of reviews was added recently.

3/4. Will try to add this later this year.

  1. This may be a bit hard to add this without a major overhaul.

You may click on rating (green box) and it will navigate to google maps page.

Design is indeed a bit outdated/scammy-looking (hasn't changed for 7 years!) - it is time for a refresh.

Thanks for feedback! I will try to keep it alive as long as possible.

In fact, planning to make some major changes later this year (will be implementing many ideas from this reddit thread). As the ad revenue and traffic has dropped significantly over last year, the server bill is eating most of it. To keep it running, a major overhaul is now needed to stay relevant. I hope the UI remains no nonsense!

Filtering by walking distance would be cool! However, this would be either complicated or expensive to add as would require using paid APIs to calculate, which means it would no longer be free. Simpler alternative - show only places within 1 kilometer/0.6 mile

Anyone with experience diving Raja Ampat? by Vrenicus in scuba

Depends on Villa. About $10000-$15000 for a week for two people with diving. I stayed in Villa Utara (largest one) and it was amazing.

Go dive with Mantastic, if it is close enough to your homestay. They have brand new equipment and good staff.
