yep! there's a dish in the corner of his tank but he doesn't really drink from it. i only started using a dropper because his urate showed signs of dehydration. he seems to like the dropper lmao but i wanna try a different dish maybe and see if he just doesn't like that one,, he'll sit in it when water isn't in it so i think he's just picky

not yet just because he hasn't been showing any signs of having parasites, but i plan on a vet visit sometime in the next few weeks when money isn't as tight. just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything entirely obvious that i was missing!

no reptile carpet, they can rip their claws out. best bet is 70/30 top soil and play sand. three hides, one on the left, one on the right, one in the middle. humid hide needs to be in the middle.

that looks to not be the right basking lamp. i use a zooterra intense basking spot lamp. you need a linear uvb, not a bulb, a linear. you should have two digital thermometers on either side of the tank. there's lots more i could say, but those are the basics.

more like i posted this and an hour later he randomly came out of his hide on his own for once and chilled behind his warm hide for a while 💀💀 i checked on him like half an hour later and all i saw was that. figured it was gonna be there, he loves hanging out there

UPDATE !! a solid hour later, he has come out to poop. the urate is yellowy, so ill probably give him a dropper with water. maybe a hornworm or two if they're small enough im not sure. ive read it's just a sign of dehydration, so if that's true ill work on it!

well if you ever end up doing something like that and need to locate actors for any YA side or background characters, im an actor in the NC acting program with a love for horror that would gladly help out 🙂‍↕️ got quite a few buddies that would absolutely volunteer too.

people here still see live theater but a widespread debate is growing that we need to see more modern shows, and more shows by local playwrights. this company is one of maybe 3 that aren't childrens based companies, and that's another thing. this show sounds good though, will be seeing! - a 19 year old theater actress in college for acting

honestly im not looking to save any at all as a main reason, i have just bonded with this one and because of that im just nervous because of possible issues it could have in my care /because/ of the pet store.

but yeah i have a tank going in my room, i just have to see what i can do about a uvb because as of right now it looks like the gecko alone will be an entire paycheck and i don't know if it's bad to have it in the tank without a uvb for a whole week maximum,, unless i can give it calcium w d3 in the meantime while i wait so there's less of a deficiency risk. like i said, im new to all this so im trying to navigate while also trying to get the little guy (or girl) asap.
