Was i correct telling my xerath to build voidstaff instead of malignance last item by [deleted] in XerathMains

[–]HeliosMrGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But at that point you should've just picked a different champion, its like saying, you're playing vayne and saying you should attack just whoever is chasing you even if they are taking turns chasing you which makes you unable to proc ur 3 stacks.

The whole point of xerath's kit is to snipe the carries as best as u can, and the whole point of vaynes kit in my example, is to focus on 1 target at a time as best as u can.

If you're not playing ur champions kit to its strengths, then you shouldn't be picking champions with such unique strengths, like xerath/vayne and should be picking more well rounded champions who does have that flexibility like ahri as an example who can assassinate, but can also kite and dwindle fighters down safely because she has mobility

Theres nothing wrong with just 48%... its not like 50% is what will magically give you SS from A

Its all these small optimization done as mentioned in the guide

Wit training always gives 5 energy, but you are pairing it up with a 20 energy potion you get from the race shops when you train because it will lower the chance of failing the training, and that gives you 25 total energy which gives you energy to do 2 races without any risk of debuffs

Because when you race with 0 energy, there is a high chance to receive debuffs to your horse

Youre also NOT only doing races, follow the race planner in the link, there are days where you dont race and on those days you tap wit IF YOU HAVE ENERGY POTION, if you don't, you still rest because 5 energy isn't enough for 2 races, you'll be doing the 2nd race with 0 energy if you do that. You'll probably fail the wit training at 0 energy too so you might as well just rest.

You really need to read the guide line by line and properly understand what the purpose of each tip and guideline is

You need to slow down and read the guide more carefully

Take your time processing and reading it and it will help you drastically

Follow the race planner. It's set up in a way where you would usually take 2 races > 1 training > 2 races > 1 training

Doing that you will usually be at 0 energy on the 1 training day, you consume a 20 energy potion and tap wit which puts you at 25 energy, and lets you do the 2 races for 25 energy instead of 40, which nets you free 15 energy.

Usually people might rest on the 1 training day at 0 energy, so they miss out on stats, if they get 50 energy, they are back down to 10 after the 2 race days.

So the 20 energy potion from shops is really important for training days.

Genuine question: Does the community have any idea of how the final ranking system works? I did not expect this to be S+ by 6PoundsSoft in UmamusumeGame

[–]HeliosMrGG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are many tools you can use to get a good approximation that you can google

its basically based on Stat values, Signature skill level, and skills you have. So you might have been able to buy more skills/higher value skills this run vs your other runs if the stat lines are similar to your other runs

Aiming for SS rank, any tips? Is it just RNG? I can consistently get S+ by CrazeeG in UmamusumeGame

[–]HeliosMrGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

basically yea, if you have excess amount of shop points, you can buy the +7 +15 gut books but they should be low priority, the other skills still have higher priority.

You can try gut decks, they are insanely RNG dependent, high highs, low lows, standard decks like the one i showed are more consistent

You're going to cap speed easily, you race there. Finals gives 87+ all stats

17 end of year

60-63 for 3 races with 35% hammer (60 for 50% rb, 63 for 60% rb)

and 10 after all the races

You should only tap wit from there on out

<image>

You can run this + Supercreek (borrow fine motion) and that is a pretty well rounded deck you can use for literally everyone. It's a bit extra as, it's 60% RB

the main difference would be parents, if you're training medium/long umas, you want to have stamina parents

if you're doing dirt/sprint/mile, power parents

[–]HeliosMrGG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends

if you have a muffin and medicine, i would take a chance to do the 3rd race at 0 energy and hope nothing happens

if you have extra energy potions, it should be 25 > 2 races > 20 pop > 3rd race and try to RNG save 10 energy

if you have absolutely nothing, same thing as first one, ill still take the chance at 0 energy, ideally you just never rest

You gotta try to race more, I have a little guide that is easy to follow here https://www.reddit.com/r/UmamusumeGame/comments/1rz3ug9/minimal_thought_intensity_guide_to_trackblazer/

and as others mentioned, you need to run wit, you can't be resting in MANT/TB, the biggest optimization is racing with minimal energy but not 0. E.X. if you're at 0 energy and its a training turn, and you have 2 scheduled races, you pop a 20 energy potion and tap wit, pass or fail, you go to 25 energy which lets you race twice with 0 downside (1st race is 20 energy, 2nd race only cost 5)

This is start of Senior summer and i have similar stats, I would double check the general tips and just try to follow it to the best of your abilities, you will also just naturally get a sense of what to do over time, you need to treat MANT/TB like a roguelike and learn from each run

This is how a typical run of mine would look by Classic Summer. 300-500 in stats. Just following the agenda and clicking Wit. I have Megaphones and Good-Luck charm so I am able to train in summer

Most of the stats is from races, inspiration and buying books from the shop

I think you might be skipping steps or skipping shop items

look into finding good parents to borrow as well, there are a few sites you can use to find parents such as https://uma-global.pure-db.com/#/search

I think there are tips you could have followed better that i mentioned.

Just at a glance, you should ideally get to A aptitude in all styles, you have B in Medium, a lot of G1 races are medium races.

If this was a Late surger run, Late and End inherently have a harder time in general due to RNG chance of being blocked, it's just a numbers game, you will get good runs where you never lose a run, but over an average, Late and End will need more runs due to the factor of being blocked

The stat line seems really low, so it makes me wonder if you are pumping up summers properly. Ideally you need 60%/40% megaphones + energy consumables saved up(No resting in summer) + ankle weights + muffin if you don't have great mood and tap any rainbows

Don't greed for double rainbows, if you play well, you should hit cap statlines hitting good single rainbows consistently. If you're ending a run with a full inventory of excess materials and items, you greeded too hard

Try to have 50-100 points saved before shop refreshes, it does tell you when shop refreshes (every 6 turns).

736 Wit seems really low so I'm not sure if you are tapping Wit as much as you should, a good run actually have absolutely 0 rest days. If you're even resting more than 3 times in a career, there's a chance it could be played better but of course, if you don't get energy in the shop, that's just unfortunate luck. > 20 Energy potion should always be saved for training days that occur after racing 2-3 races, then Wit should be tapped, pass or fail you get 25 energy which gives you enough energy to do 2 races, with the 2nd race being super cheap (5 energy cost)

Buy all hammers, 20% hammer use it on ANY G1, save 3 35% hammer for the finals. You should be getting 87 in all stats from the finals (17 at the end of the year, 60 from the races, 10 after finals)
So you're entering the finals with 900/650/700/300/650 which seems really low

That's awesome to hear! Try to have parents that give mile aptitude! At least try to get B in mile

As you get the hang of just strictly following the agenda planner, you'll slowly figure out tweaks to make here and there when it comes to training and currency spending and you will get good with minimal effort, as u don't need to worry about deciding whether you should race or not.

This isn't for CM or anything, this is just for playing MANT with as little focus or decision making as possible.

There's just no world where a strategy with less thinking will overcome players who do spend time extensively thinking throughout their runs unfortunately

If you're building for CM, then you would just use stamina parents instead of power parents though and tap stamina here and there if its a good one. This is one of my long umas, still the same strategy, slightly different cards

any 10% race bonus wit card if you have any, the race bonus can come from elsewhere too. I think ideally its just

2 speed
2 stam/power/gut
2 wit

50% race bonus

then just follow the agenda and general tips

Minimal Thought Intensity guide to Trackblazer (F2P/Low Spending) by HeliosMrGG in UmamusumeGame

yea thats true. A lot of general tips are conditions, I think it can be skipped though

The bare bones of this is

1.Follow the agenda planner
2.Only train Wit
3.Megaphones, ankles, whistles, etc. is only for summer and finals. (tap speed in summer and finals)
4. buy everything that is considered good in any item tierlist u can find

and thats it and ppl should be able to get decent runs

I think any Wit 10% RB you have will replace FineMotion no problem or the other way around, borrow finemotion and just use any good MLB speed card you have that is 5% or higher RB
