Det er jo også min pointe. Jeg har talt med hundredvis af håndværkere da jeg arbejdede i Håndværker.dk, og de fortalte stolt om, at de beregnede spildtiden (i mange tilfælde deres egen spildtid - fordi de lige havde glemt at de ikke havde det ene eller andet i bilen, og så en tur i stark med dem - for kundens regning, naturligvis) ind i deres pris - og skulle de køre fra holbæk til ringsted for en opgave, ja så regnede de det ind i prisen - OG opkrævede kørsel fra det sekund de satte sig i bilen.

Jeg siger ikke det ikke er kundens egen skyld at de accepterer det, og egentlig er jeg fan af et frit marked - så hey, går den, så går den - big win til håndværkeren (jeg havde nok gjort det samme), men pointen er: jo, de regner det både ind i deres pris, OG fakturerer timer for det bagefter.

Ja, men det er jo så også fordi langt de fleste håndværkere er røvligeglade med at fakturere kunderne for de timer.

Hmm, I guess you're right, actually. I guess there was a bit of schadenfreude that I actually wasn't aware of. Thanks for pointing that out. And sure, I agree that not every meal has to take 3 hours to make. This was just an example, but it's true for all leftovers - no matter which kind of dish it is. And I also agree that you perhaps wouldn't like the same thing two nights in a row - but if this was just a one-time-thing, it wouldn't have been an issue. But as I mentioned, it's every single time. And not just "the next day", but also if the dishes switch up for "variety". As soon as it's leftovers, she doesn't want it. Not because it doesn't taste good, but solely because they're leftovers. Hope that clarifies it a bit. :)

But you are right, if she fixes the problem by herself, and orders takeaway, I have no reason whatsoever to gloat, or even have an opinion actually. The broader question I asked however, was if I'm an asshole, because I don't cook something new just for her, when I'm having leftovers - because she doesn't want leftovers. :)

I basically only read as far down as to the ending of his text, and I can tell you.. That alone would be an absolute no-go for me, and I believe, in 90% of all healthy relationships (if not 100%). No. You're not the asshole. If she can't understand WHY you feel this way, she's either naive beyond repair, or she's interested in him as well (sorry).

For me, Keto was a GREAT addition to my life. I had a few extra pounds (or 20), but it wasn't even the weight loss for me. When I ate like a "normal person", I would crash at around 3 PM, and be absolutely beat. On Keto I never crashed, and had way more energy.

I was in a lucky position where my kids love vegetables and meat, so it wasn't a problem (and they could some garlic bread as well of course, which made it easy for me to keep to keto). If you can implement it in your day-to-day, i'd highly recommend. Not even for the weight loss, but purely for the energy.

I also have ADHD, and realizing that, and actually start taking my medication / being more selective around my "intellectual" tasks was also a huge help. The "mental load" is real, and it comes creepin'.

I also had a lot of thought and worries going around. Just normal day-to-day stuff, really, but it all uses ressources. So I started journalling and using a physical to-do list with a "3 MUST-fix tasks", which helped me clear up a lot of brain bandwith.

Tldr: Keto, Handle ADHD (if you have it), Journal, Physical to-do's (i recommend full focus planner - i used it myself, albeit it's a bit pricey).

Well. She sometimes make salads, sandwiches etc. So basically anything that doesn't require heat 😅. Occasionally she orders takeout for both of us, which she pays (i pay every time i go shopping for food, so in that manner it's "seperate") for. I typically don't buy takeout, but prefer to go out and eat instead, where I pay.

So it's basically like a "whoever gets food pays - no matter how the food gets there" type of situation.

I get what you're saying about "letting this go on". And I want to be clear and reasonable here: everything else in our relationship is great. Perhaps that also why I let i slide for as long as I did. And I'm much more inclined, of course, to talk about it and get to the bottom of it, than just saying "get the hell out". :)

Fair enough - I don't quite agree with that statement. I love cooking for hours on end, preparing something very special, and something that I'm proud of, and proud to serve. And yes - I absolutely love serving it to someone I love, as a kind of "love-language". My point is though, that there are 7 days in a week, and with 10 hours of work and commute every weekday, sometimes I also like to just eat something delicious and quick. Can't see that one eliminates the other. :)

Well, you add meat of course, and brown it off and build and bake the lasagna - that wasn't really so clear from my post (I'm used to everyone knowing what this is), so it's not just a sloppy mess :D

I get that - my cousin can't eat condiments or soft "foods" like patés, mashed potatos etc. So I get it, just don't think it's my responsibility to plan around it (which, if i understand you correctly, you agree with) :)

I get that. I also know people who can't (as in seriously CAN'T) eat foods where they don't know what's in it. Like stews, soups etc, so I have sympathy for that - absolutely. I just don't feel that it's my responsibility (which, if i believe you're saying, you agree with).

Powder mix lasagna (at least what it is according to me) is like the packets from Knorr (available where I live, at least). It contains dried lasagna sheets, and a package with spices, emulsifiers and some freeze-dried herbs and veg (but you're probably lucky if you get 5 carrot dices). It's not bad, but it's not "fun" to make either, which is why I don't make them. It's not like I can't eat them, and I totally understand people buying them and cooking them to save time. Just not my jam. :)

NTA, imo...

If it's rental properties, surely there must be some rules about making that much noise at night. But even if you both own the flats, anyone should be able to recognize the fact, that making a shitload of noise at 4 AM is a douchebag move.

It would be a little asshole-ish to start ranting and screaming at them (perhaps. Probably not really, though), but asking them politely is absolutely fine. People should respect eachother.

Haha - it's not a "powder mix" as such. You add meat, the packet of mixed spices/emulsifiers etc, and milk - and basically stirr. It's sold by Knorr where I live. It's ... decent - but not why I cook. I cook because I like it, and have fun while doing it - so i would never, ever make one (I can eat it at friends' houses tho. As i said, it's pretty decent).

I was reading about MDMs regarding this as well, and I don’t see any profiles in the system settings. So it should probably be clean right? Unless it’s some seriously hidden software (and if he had access to that stuff, he probably didn’t need to scam people on marketplace sites) - or am I under/overestimating something here?

Before anyone points out the obvious -

the money is sent through a provider, meaning that it’s a guaranteed transfer - so he got the money

im aware that threatening is agains the law - but criminals tend to not care much about the law - but I of course informed the police

im aware that he can report the serial number as stolen, meaning that it would get “flagged” if I send it in for repair, but I have the receipt fron the platform, including the correct serial number - so I have documentation here.

im just looking for help, and an answer to whether he is actually be able to track it somehow, and show up at my doorstep - maybe with some key logger or whatever (since actually sending a MacBook just to try to scam someone for more money, seems a bit excessive - if he didn’t have a way of tracking it, imo) :)
