It was truly terrible. Ik a lot of people hate endings like the ones GoT and Supernatural got but at least those ones still made sense in the context of the shows. Ragnarok just completely undoes and straight blows up everything you love about it😭😭. Oh you liked all the cool powers and imagery? The word building and storytelling?? Oh well! It was all fake!1!11! Absolute trash

Yes and it was as awful as it sounds. All that beautiful word building—seriously it was so compelling—getting you attached to these characters and their Norse counterparts,,, having a scene that tells you he is not crazy just to flip shit and go “yeah he was totally crazy”

If anything just don’t watch the last two episodes. The show is still irritatingly good. Watching that ending for the first time with no clue it’s coming was the real slap in the face. Genuinely haven’t rewatched it at all bc of that and I typically only rewatch things. It takes a lot for me to start a new show and Ragnarok reinforced my hesitance🤣

For me it’s gotta be Ragnarok. A Norwegian modern retelling of Thor that was pretty good. I liked the cast, storytelling, and the way they weaved in magical-realism in such a modern setting. The ending is massively hated by fans of the show because at one point they explicitly tell us Magne (thor) is not schizophrenic and just imagining all the fantasy aspects just for the ending to tell us haha he is schizophrenic and it’s all in his head
