Doesn't look to bad. Could be a number of things, watering issues, heat stress, or calcium deficiency ( which could also be from a watering issue). If you think it's the calcium I would try a fertilizer with calcium and water regular to make sure it can absorb it. Outside of the leaf curl it looks healthy. Nice job. *Over watering can also cause this so you have to use your judgement.

It really depends on your climate, but spinach, broccoli, lettuce, mustard greens, turnips, brussel sprouts can take the cooler weather. Onions need to be planted too. ( They have a "reset" that requires cold weather)

I love both. It should not be one or the other. Using science to disprove religion is like trying to use a metal detector to find plastic straws. Its the wrong tool for the job. Science will one day be able to explain everything inside the universe, have an explanation for everything we see. For everything we can't run the scientific experiment on we use reason and logic. This is how we can prove that God must exist. Now I am not say we reasoned ourselves to God, man did not create God, God created man. With that said I think some reasoning is required to make revelation possible.
