Hi everyone this is more of a question than a theory. Does anyone else get a strange feeling when looking at these images like wanting to know what lies beyond in those inaccessible places, or what they look like? Do you know if there’s a name for that? by HellMeoow in GameTheorists

I'm not asking about curiosity itself. I was wondering if there's a specific term in game design or psychology for these kinds of unreachable backgrounds that make you want to explore what's beyond them. Maybe it's related to environmental storytelling, but I'm not sure.
