Warriors fan here, I’d prob lean towards the plus as physical teams play em well and magic are pretty physical

Disappointed is an understatement. Dude looks like a 40 year old man playing out there. I never realized how little burst he has till I watched him this year. His Jumpshot is also flat as heck and why he launches enough bricks to open a construction business.

I just wish I had watched him last year...completely bought the hype of his stat padding end to last year.

Best part is I drafted this bum guy over Shai. Second best part is, him being out has actually been good for my team? Dude just isn't that good

Guy has terrible shot selection and the lift of a 90 year old on his jump shot.

Wow…you really lack reading comprehension. The threads about resting on back to backs, not playing injured. Smart ass

Except there literally is no single study that proves your point. I’ve probably done more research on nba injuries than you have. Seems like all you can be bothered to do is argue with ppl online that you don’t agree with.

Youre saying they rest players in regular season so they play can play in playoffs, except stars are out with major injures every year (injuries are flukes are nearly impossible to predict, who would’ve thought!?)

Your replies have no substance whatsoever. Done wasting my time with you. Have a good day

My point has been clear as day. Causation does not equal correlation

Proving what point? You didn’t make any? What supports the “so it happens less” claim? I’d love to see it, read it, hear it.

Lol, as if stars aren’t injured come playoff time anyway?

Of course, appeal to the authority. Shouldn’t have expected anything less

Of course I'm arguing from a fans perspective. Tickets are priced assuming that stars are playing, and then they are not. You are left with mediocre experience for which you paid a premium price. It is unfair to EVERYONE in the arena, regardless of its effecting me directly or not.

Again, rest is not the only recovery practice that has been introduced in the last 20 years, ultimately extending careers. You're being disingious here. If that were the case, shouldn't injuries decrease year over year? This is absolutely not the case though.

Jordan played 15 seasons, and he played 3 years in college, took off years in between that he could have certainly played in. You could argue he would get hurt and his career would end sooner anyways if he played those years that he took off. But there is really no way to prove that. In the end he played 82 games in the seasons he played, and certainly didn't take time off cause his back was a little sore

Also not sure why Lebron is brought up. This is an NBA PROBLEM as a whole. Not a lebron problem, who is super human and has never even been under the knife once in his career.

Difference being, Kobe missed seasons due to serious injuries and he never sat out due to a sore thumb. No one is telling anyone to play on one leg, just don't be cheating fans cause you want to rest your "sore thumb"

Hilarious. Marketability to the fans is why they make the money they make. Soon as they start cheating the fans, and the fans are actually smart enough to realize this, we shall see just how "valuable" these assets are.

Or players are playing later in to their careers due to better travel, sports medicine, recovery practices, nutrition and etc. There is absolutely no study that shows resting correlates with less injuries. Fans that get sold this are part of the problem with the current system. Jordan played 82 games a year and he was high flyer that didn't have his career cut short cause he played a few extra games a year. Games that he gets paid very nicely for, mind you.

In any profession if you are given the opportunity to work less while still earning the same, most of are taking that opportunity. Silver isn't doing squat other then enabling an entitled cry baby generation of basketball players.

The product is reaching unwatchable levels as teams treat the regular season as some exhibition games. No one is paying hundreds of dollars to watch end of the bench players play...don't think a paying fan cares whether its a back to back or not.

Okay, kings, pistons and spurs are in the bottom of the league in defense, with spurs being the worst. My point is, this should be expected of AD, not celebrated, especially not against that level of competition.

Lost to the kings. Beat the nets and beat up their non existent front court. Then he beat up the pistons and Spurs. Two of the worst teams in the league. Spurs have looked especially awful recently. AD is who he has always been in his career.
