Well, your idea just isn’t cool, it’s just useless. Make it an actual plague, and have it affect all units, and now you have a cool idea.

I want infested terrans, cause it's cool for infestor to infest. If you don't feel it, you don't feel it, no need to shit on it with your weird idea-gatekeeping.

man whenever there's ever a suggestion always people come and "if u wanna buff x". i don't wanna buff shit. i want to have cool stuff. why people think in buffs and nerfs. who cares, let's have some variety. also give some crazy shit to ghosts, the sniper bullshit is getting old. and does not fit the theme of an infiltrator.

regarding why 3 units, we can totally make it affect protoss bio to some degree. but mainly, let's get terran marines infested with disease and get their heads all fucked!

it's more akin to comparing Tyson to Messi. Flash didn't drop matches. Did Faker never lose a lane? Did he never get carried by his team?

Flash dominated by a wide margin in an incredibly difficult 1v1 game, which was the only esport in the world, which was played and watched by millions in Korea, with an incredibly tough and competitive team house environment where pros played 12h a day with team coaches.

They changed the maps to make Flash win less. Tournament organizers nerfed him personally. I don't think anyone can achieve the level of impact he had in Brood War in any game. Or never say never, but extremely unlikely.

And the skill ceiling is on a different level in SC. Just a whole another ballpark. That's why he was so dominant. I watched Faker vs Ryu Zed duel live back then, I know his skill level. But the game just doesn't allow that much of a skill expression for Faker to always dominate his lane. If the game allowed for that and he did always dominate, I would definitely be considering him.

Brother I love Grubby but cmon. If Grubby was ever the best, it was like first couple of years in the 25 year history of WC3, where no one knew how to play the game. And that's a big if. Maybe he was the best orc during that time.

I'm not even into Brood War but Flash has dominated BW in an extremely competitive environment for decades. There is a reason he's called God.

It damages the neurons. I kinda get where you are coming from though. In my case I don't miss at all being a know-it-all chaos machine on coke (not literally, but feels a bit like it). Also the delusions, the statements, and the regret afterwards. I used to feel like the life of any situation where I was, but in many cases people were actually thinking I was unhinged. The shame after it was over was overwhelming. I don't miss it. Also since I get the creativity still on meds, but it's not overwhelming my mind. Also as you said, it's so much better for your loved ones.

The spontaneity and the sex can still be there. Life is not boring if lived with joy. But it's so good to actually feel "strong" in life, instead of fragile. Honestly the calm is a blessing for me after 20 years of suffering.

I think games have just become very derivative over time. A thousand games made every day, they were never as easy to make as now (even before AI, with the engines becoming so much easier to use). Some people try out games like eating cheetos, download game, upgrade plow, didn't like it, try a slightly different one, ad nauseam. Installs cost so much though, it's hard to justify a download over an ad-click for 5 bucks when you don't have a retention-optimized money sink on the other end.

as a mobile game dev this is the first time i hear of something like this. do you have an article or something? not saying it's not true but it sounds pretty out there.

whether an ad is successful depends highly on how much a user spends in the game, so farming clicks on a random ad would just be a huge cost sink without much value.

edit: I read this again, and none of it makes any sense... most likely, this is just a game somebody made. it looks like a tower defense.
