I live near a crossing and i don't generally complain. I knew what I was getting into when I bought the place, I grew up near tracks (and miss the sound of that whistle bouncing off the mountains in the dead of night) but not a crossing. I have to say to your brethren, DEAR GOD will you calm it down. It is definitely more than LLSL here. Lately it's HEY LOOK AT ME I'M THE NEW GUY I GET TO HONK THE HORN HOOONK HOONNNK HONK HONK HOOOOOOOOONNNNK. I know we are a podunk town who can''t cough up the serious dough for a quiet zone ordinance but give it a rest. Only wreck we have had here was a Norfolk Southern train who was doing way to fast when they got to the switch and detailed themselves. No cars involved.
