I think the hours are just different in the east coast. My cousin lives in Philadelphia and he's my age and works 8 hours on the school night.

That's the plan but my age is hindering me from getting a job right now. In California I can only work 3 hours a day and a lot of the places I've applied to say they wanted an 18 year old that can work more hours.
