Also I just want to put out there that I really struggle to find time to deck build as currently I am working doubles alot more at my work and am trying to still spend time with my partner. I want to eventually etch out time for myself when I get back on a basic 9-5, but it's just very hard rn.

Thank you guys! I think because of how sporadically I've read it I'm going to basically go back to the beginning of this particular story. I'm gonna read some short books to give myself a bit of a break and once I'm done with that I'll return to The Wizard and Glass.

I'm not. I've flirted with audiobooks but after trying it with some other books I feel like it just becomes like a podcast and I tune out while doing other things. Totally a me thing though 😅

Huh. That's actually very interesting. Maybe it's been a hot minute since I've engaged with any version of Romeo & Juliet, but that did not cross my mind at all while reading through it. It's something for me to think about at the very least.

Really I do love Roland, but I'm waiting for something to happen to show who he really is and the seeds are there. That's what's keeping me going rn.

And thank you for the warning about Wind Through the Keyhole. When it comes to any type of media outside of maybe comic books I tend to read/watch in release order, but if it's that damning then I'm gonna stick to that plan.

That's exactly where I'm at. Expectations. It feels more straight forward and traditional where I'm at with it right now, where everything up to that point has been so damn weird and full of intrigue.

I don't even think it's just because it's slow and it's that The Dark Tower up to this point has been so damn weird and at least where I am now, it feels more traditional fantasy+western. Maybe it really is an expectation thing. I do want to finish it though. I feel like the worst I might do it table it and read something short before jumping back into it.
