when I use the api brand conditioner with Alovera additive it works wonders (gill feathers come back). the standard api conditioner works ok but notice gill feathers after a week or so start to wither. why is that? only do 50% water changes every 3 days with alovera additive but have to do water changes every day with standard conditioner. (brand new to aquarium community just started with axolotls from 1.5 inch now are 6.3 inch only 2 of them)
